The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has reiterated his undying love for Nigeria and his unalterable belief in its indivisibility.

In a virtual interactive session with more than 1,000 members of his foremost support group, the Peter Obi Support Network, Obi expressed confidence that Nigeria can and will come out of the woods of failed political leadership.

He urged everyone, especially those in the diaspora, to contribute to Nigeria’s development in whatever capacity they could.

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has scheduled a meeting for Wednesday as part of plans to reconcile the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and other aggrieved party members.

The Chairman of BoT, Senator Walid Jibrin told DAILY POST Thursday that the BoT would also meet with presidential aspirants.

He expressed concern that the primary election that produced the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar and the subsequent appointment of the Governor of Delta state, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as the vice presidential candidate was causing unnecessary confusion among some PDP members.

Jibrin stressed that there was no problem as envisaged by some people in the main opposition party.

He stated: “I want to assure everyone that all plans are on ground to bring all members together as one and united. What is happening in PDP can never be compared with the situation in APC, especially their plans in trying to bring religious issues of Muslim-Muslim president and vice president.”

Jibrin noted that some groups are trying to reconcile aggrieved members, saying the latest intervention was coming from
