Why are they shocked. It's just the truth. The salaries senate members are collecting is way too much for a country that have so much impoverished citizens. Wealth of this country revolves around very few and I'm afraid to say that our senates are among the few.

Its very necessary. It will reduce the tension that have bedevilled the state due to the protest.
The best lasting solution to this unrest is for government to listen to it's citizens.

The president did not say any good thing to pacify the protester. Rather, he made the matter worse. He shouldn't have spoken sef.

People keep asking why the south easterners are not part of the ongoing #End_bad_governance protest.
In recent years, the south east have been at the receiving end of several protests. The security operatives will assume that everyone who comes out to protest is an ipob and killing will be the order of the day. So the south easterners have learned from experience. While the rest of the region protest, most south eastern states are either on sit-at-home or going about their normal businesses.

Fellow Nigerians, security operatives ain't our problem. Let's channel our grievances and angers on the government. Security operatives won't react if the protest is peaceful. Once the aim of the protest is defeated, violence and chaos is unavoidable. Let's stay focus on the task and the reason for the protest.
