Saudi Arabia equaliser denies Nigeria victory

The Saudis went ahead on the hour mark following a mistake by goalkeeper Francis Uzoho and Salman Al-Faraj broke the deadlock at Estadio Municipal de Portimao in Portugal.
The hosts threw away their lead following an own-goal by Abdulelah Al Amri on 73 minutes.
Nigeria then went ahead through Kelechi Iheanacho who netted with nine minutes to go.
As the Super Eagles appeared on course to victory, Kanno hit back for Saudi Arabia 10 minutes into stoppage time to secure a draw for Saudi Arabia.

Japan downed Canada 4-1

Two goals by Tanaka, one by Nakamura and an own goal by Canada's Davies gave the Japs a four goal lead before J. Hoilett pushed in a consolation goal for Canada before stoppage time to end the match 4-1.

England 1-0 Australia

England beat Australia 1-0 thanks to an Ollie Watkins goal and will face Italy in a Euro 2024 qualifier on Tuesday.
