Super Eagles Drop in Latest FIFA World Ranking

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped two spots to 42nd in the latest FIFA World rankings, but they remain the sixth-ranked team in Africa. The drop in ranking comes after the Super Eagles failed to win any of their two 2026 World Cup qualifying matches in November, drawing against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
Despite the drop in ranking, the Super Eagles are still ahead of some of Africa's top teams, including Ghana, South Africa, and Ivory Coast. However, they are still behind Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, and Egypt.
