Wolves 2-1 Chelsea
FROM WOLVES TO WONDERLANDS: gary o'neil gifts HIMSELF (AND WOLVES FANS) A GLORIOUS MOLINEUX MIRACLE!
Christmas has come early for Wolverhampton Wanderers and their manager, Gary O'Neil! Today, at the hallowed Molineux, they conjured up another stunning upset, roaring past Chelsea 2-1 to complete a fairytale run of victories over Premier League giants. After conquering Manchester City and Tottenham, the Wolves claimed another illustrious scalp, proving their mettle against the titans of the English game.
The hero of the hour was Mario Lemina, who soared like a wolf over the Chelsea defense to head home a beautifully guided corner in the second half. Wolves, inspired by Lemina's brilliance, held firm as Ruben Toti and Ben Dawson transformed into brick walls at the back, Dawson unfortunately succumbing to injury in his valiant quest.
Just when Molineux was preparing for jubilant carols, substitute Matt Doherty silenced any nervous whispers with a clinical finish in the 93rd minute. But the Blues, true to their fighting spirit, refused to surrender. Christopher Nkunku, on his Premier League debut, ensured a nail-biting finale with a late wonder goal.
