Jesus is ‘The Truth’ (John 14:6), so when He says that He will not leave you comfortless, He really means it. (John 14:18)
God is a Comforter; I am saying this from an assurance in God’s word and from my experiences.
Many times, however, when someone is grieving and the fellow is not open to listening to Him, he or she will not receive the comfort that He gives.
“If you are currently experiencing heartbreak from any sad occurrence, I can tell you assuredly that Jesus is sitting right beside you, putting His hand around your shoulder and comforting you. You only need to open up to Him so that He can heal your broken heart.”
MEMORISE: As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. (Isaiah 66:13)
