3 Keypoints From: God Comforts

  • Jesus is ‘The Truth’ (John 14:6), so when He says that He will not leave you comfortless, He really means it. (John 14:18)
  • God is a Comforter; I am saying this from an assurance in God’s word and from my experiences.
  • Many times, however, when someone is grieving and the fellow is not open to listening to Him, he or she will not receive the comfort that He gives.

  • “If you are currently experiencing heartbreak from any sad occurrence, I can tell you assuredly that Jesus is sitting right beside you, putting His hand around your shoulder and comforting you. You only need to open up to Him so that He can heal your broken heart.

MEMORISE: As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. (Isaiah 66:13)

3 Keypoints From: God Teaches (2)

  • When you become intimate with God, you will start operating on a level of wisdom and understanding that is above your peers.
  • The closer you are to God, the wiser He will make you. He is the greatest teacher of all; in Him lies all wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:2-3).
  • As you grow in Him by praying regularly, fellowshipping with other believers, studying your Bible, evangelising,... you will start living the same way Christ would have if He were still physically on the earth.

  • “When you become sufficiently intimate with God, you will start doing things like Him. (Galatians 3:27)

MEMORISE: Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. (Psalm 25:4)

3 Keypoints From: God Teaches (1)

  • If you are an ardent student of the Bible, every now and then, as you study, He will teach you things that will make difficult situations become easy for you. (Psalm 119:105)
  • Sometimes, the solution to your problem may come from just simply reading the Bible without necessarily having a man of God lay hands on your head.
  • Having a knowledge of the truth through God’s word will ensure that you live victoriously. (John 8:32)

  • “Your Bible is the textbook of life; study it so that you will not fail in life. Make sure you spend quality time studying your Bible every day.
MEMORISE: For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him. (Isaiah 28:26)

    2 Keypoints From: God Provides

  • When you see someone who cannot testify to the fact that God provides, it is likely that you have found someone who is stingy, even to God.
  • If you want God to provide for you, don’t be stingy to His work, men and women of God, those around you, or the poor. The liberal soul will surely be made fat *(Proverbs 11:25).

  • Proverbs 21:13 says “Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.”

MEMORISE: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1)

2 Keypoints From: Nothing Is Impossible

  • That big challenge in front of you can be easily solved by God if only you believe. Praying about a problem is not enough; (James 1:6-7)
  • As you are making your request, you should thank Him simultaneously because you know that He has done it already. (Philippians 4:6)

  • “Go ahead to make decrees according to God’s word concerning the impossible situations around you, and trust Him to turn them around.”

MEMORISE: For with God nothing shall be impossible. *(Luke 1:37).

2 Keypoints From: There Is Hope

  • Don’t let people tell you that your case is hopeless; they are not your God. They did not bring you this far, and so, they cannot control your future.
  • When God starts something, He finishes it; He doesn’t abandon His children halfway. He is faithful and will see to it that all ends well.

  • Never lose hope.

MEMORISE: For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. (Job 14:7)

3 Keypoints From: Ye Are Gods

  • A lot of Christians are perishing because they don’t realize that they are sitting in a place of honour. (Psalm 49:20)
  • We are so powerful that we can decide what happens in heaven. (Matthew 18:18)
  • You can do everything that Jesus did in the Scriptures and even more. (Mark 11:23)

  • “Are you standing right with God such that you can issue decrees by His word and they will stand?”

MEMORISE: I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. (Psalm 82:6)

2 Keypoints From: The Name Above All Names

  • The name of Jesus is powerful and potent all by itself. This is why you must learn to use it in the face of impending danger.
  • You should not call the name of Jesus in vain or as a mere exclamation. (Exodus 20:7)

  • “Even as a human being, you would not like it if people toy with your name; how much more the Most High God?”

MEMORISE: Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (Philippians 2:9)

3 Keypoints From: Even In The Fire

  • If anyone tells you that you will never face challenges because you are a Christian, that fellow is not telling you the whole truth.
  • If a challenge pushes you away from God, then your love is small.
  • Your love for Him must be built from today if you will remain standing in the face of challenges.

  • “If telling the truth about a situation at work will cost you your job, will you lie to save your job or tell the truth and bear the consequences?”

Build your love for Christ now. Study your Bible diligently, pray without ceasing, and keep fellowshipping with other Christians so that when the day of adversity comes, your love for God will keep you standing.

MEMORISE: Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. (Job 13:15)

3 Keypoints From: No Respecter Of Persons

  • Those who aren’t born again cannot be righteous; God sees them as wicked (John 3:18-21), and He has said that it shall not be well with them (Isaiah 3:11).
  • The One who said that it shall be well with the righteous never discriminates. What He says to one, He says to all (Mark 13:37).
  • The promise of a glorious tomorrow for you, according to Colossians 1:27, is conditional, and the condition is that Christ must be in you.

  • “Irrespective of your background, you can be assured of a glorious future if you surrender your life completely to Christ.”

MEMORISE: For there is no respect of persons with God. (Romans 2:11)

2 Keypoints From: Hope For The Backslidden

  • Even if you have failed God in the past, if you repent and forsake your old ways, God can still use you mightily. (He specialises in using the most unlikely people in powerful measures.)
  • If you are backslidden, the Lord can still restore you if you will allow Him to. Go back to Him in prayers, start studying your Bible, and begin to walk with Him in obedience in fellowship with other Christians.

  • As you take one step towards Him, He will take 99 steps towards you.

MEMORISE: I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. (Hosea 14:4)
