You can′t go far in life if all you want is “Just enough“
? Just enough to pay bills.
? Just enough to fill your quota.
? Just enough to meet your target.
? Just enough to take care of family.
? Just enough to get past failure.

Many people play in life to “keep from losing“. That′s the surest way to lose. That was what Super Eagles did in Russia 2018. Keeping from losing is extremely different than playing to win. Those who play JUST well enough to avoid failure NEVER win.
What wins in life is being recklessly “all-out“. What wins ultimately is doing TOO much. If you are not doing too much for your business you haven′t even started. If you are not doing too much for success you don′t even stand a chance.

Oh yeah, people will complain and that is exactly what you want. You want to be audacious enough about your life and goals to the point people become angry and say “your own is too much“. You want to be all-out-enough putting your brand everywhere for people to come to your inbox and say “What exactly are you trying to do? What do you call yourself“ But then you won′t care because that′s the validation you need that the market is taking notice. Go all out. Do too much

And God blessed them, and God said unto them; Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Nothing dwarfs a man more than the smallness of his own mind. Nothing incapacitates a man like the lack of vision. God speaking to Abraham in Gen 13:15 said to him ?For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.?. Greatness happens when a people grow their capacity intentionally. Every day, opportunities stroll by unnoticed while people remain perpetually in penury. Why?

It is important to note that enlargement can never happen without an increase in capacity. Let′s call to mind the story of the Widow of one of the Sons of the Prophets for a moment. Elisha had instructed her to go and get all the vessels she can. Borrow, buy, anyhow you can increase your capacity. Why did Elisha do this? He knew that if that woman does not increase her capacity she would limit the God of increase. She knew she had vessels too little to contain God′s increase. 2Kings 4:1-7
While it is God who enlarges and lifts a man it is the duty of man to acquire the capacity to contain the enlargement of God. The reason many have not received that enlargement is entirely because there is absolutely no room to take more. Jesus speaking to the disciples in John 16: 12 says “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now?. Can you imagine that? Jesus had a lot of revelation to give the Apostles but they lacked the capacity to bear them.

So how do you enlarge your capacity?
One, read
Paul admonishing Timothy in the book of 2 Tim 2:15 says study “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth“. No one can get any approval for enlargement who does not increase the level of his knowledge of God and of things around him. If you will not read, your capacity can NEVER increase and there will not be enlargement. The Bible talks about those “that know their God being strong and doing exploits“.?Those that know?. Without knowledge you can′t grow. You can′t do exploits.

Secondly, who are the people that influence you?
An English adage says if you stay around long enough in the barber′s shop you will get a hair cut. A Yoruba adage says if a sheep stays around a company of dogs long enough it would eat shit. The Bible says ?Be not deceived, bad communication corrupts good manners?. Please understand dear reader that glory is very easily corrupted by staying around with lay-abouts. Your capacity can never increase if your circle of friends is ?Low-life-dwellers“. Imagine, on the day that Elisha asked the Widow of one of the Sons of the Prophets to go borrow vessesels, if all her friends were poor people who cannot even afford a vessel.
Today, I challenge you to be deliberate about the kinds of people that you let into your space. Screen out those who are adding no value and are not prepare to add value to you. Look out for people whose lives inspire you.

Lastly, pursue your goals.
If you will succeed in life, hardwork will have to be your middle name. No anointing can replace the need to work hard. Jesus was the most anointed of all men that ever lived , yet he prayed so hard his sweat was thick as blood. If you will see any growth it will reqiure that you work. Not moderate work but hard work. Happy New Month. The Lord will remember you for good in this new month in Jesus name

Domestic accidents occur in and around the home.
Some of the common causes of injuries sustained at home include electrical shock, fire outbreak, and drug misuse, to mention few. These accidents can be avoided if necessary precautionary measures are taken to prevent them.

Below are some tips to help avoid these accidents and keep our loved ones saved from them.

Electrical safety:

Never overload electric sockets or extension cords.

Plug large appliances such as electric kettle or refrigerator directly into separate power outlets.

If appliances have worn, torn or damaged, stop using them and have them changed by professionals.

Preventing fire accident:

Properly install smoke alarms and fire extinguisher in your house along with escape routes and plans in case of fire outbreak.

Take caution in the kitchen:

Place heavy items close to the ground not on high shelves.

Sharp and dangerous objects like knives should be properly secured and kept out of reach of children.

Don′t leave pots and stoves in use unattended.

Always keep an eye on children around kitchen fireplace.

Safety with medicine:
Medicines or chemicals of any sort should always be

kept at designated spots;

preferably in a safe place or lockable cabinets,

away from the reach of children.

A passport is a valid document that qualifies a person to travel from one country to another. But it′s not enough to have a passport to travel; your passport must be valid with a visa before you can enter a foreign country.
Similarly, our lives on earth can be likened to a journey to another life in heaven. And everyone (including children) must have what it takes to get to heaven.
This implies that no one can get to heaven without a genuine salvation experience.

As parents, understand that your primary assignment in this world is to ensure that your child has a valid passport (genuine salvation) that will get him/her to heaven. It′s your responsibility to discern whether your child is genuinely saved or not. The fact your child is raised in a Christian home, goes to church with you, prays, memorizes bible verses, are not enough to assume the he/she is genuinely saved.

Look beyond your child quiet, moral and religious disposition. Interact with your child; watch him/her among their friends and siblings. Pray that God should open your eyes to see where he/she needs help, and then pray for his/her salvation until you are sure that your child is actually saved.
Also, don′t ever think your child′s salvation will come accidentally, you need to partner with Holy Ghost and make a conscious, deliberate effort to make it happen.

Use all available resources at your disposal to ensure that your child is genuinely saved.

What does it mean to have dominion?
Dominion means having authority and rule over a thing, principle or a geographical arena. Dominion means being fully in charge and capable of determining what happen or does not happen.
To fully understand dominion it might be helpful to explain it with opposite of Dominion which is ?Subjugation?. Subjugation is being under rule without the capacity to determine what you do, want, or even think. Subjugation; as is seen with the children of Israel may even mean being incapable of dreaming big dreams or even serving your own God.
Subjugation is terrible. When a man is subjugated the rewards of his work is reaped by another man. This basically means that he cannot even determine the course of his own life or future. The worst part of subjugation is that a man cannot actually free himself.

Imagine, how Modecai, who was a slave in Babylon did the king Ahasuerus a great favour, he exposed a plot by three men who sought to kill the king. When it was time to give reward, Hamman, the arch enemy of Modecai and his people (Israel) was the one who was promoted as Prime Minister making him second only to the king. In spite of this, Modecai could not protest; Why?- because slaves have no rights whatsoever. This is how bad subjugation can be.
For everyone reading this who are under the despotic reign of Lucifer; may the Almighty God give you freedom today in Jesus′ name.
The devil is a bad devil. When he wins a man, he captures his life, ambition, health, destiny, family, academics, and even future; just about everything. He leaves him no room to even attempt an escape.
But, our God is a good God. He continually shows mankind his own salvation (Ps 91:16). One of the best promise he made to us in all of his holy book is the promise of all-round dominion

What should we have dominion over?

SIN
Paul speaking to the Roman church in Rom 6: 13-14 says ?Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin; but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under the law, but under grace.?
The devil subjugates men to do sinful things even against their own very wish. People get into drugs and then cannot get out because they are hooked. People get into lesbianism and alcoholism and find it hard to quit. Sin is compelling them to its ways each day. People lie willfully to the point where they have no honour. But the promise of God is this ?Sin shall no longer reign in your mortal bodies?
SICKNESS
11But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also give life to {quicken} your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.
This is the final verdict over sickness. The Spirit of Jesus gives life that renews our mortal bodies. I pray for anyone reading this bulletin right now who has been struggling with any long-term sickness or the other, the word of God is saying to you today ?But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for {of} our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.? Sickness in your body, blood stream and marrows are cursed in Jesus name. Begining from today, the grip of sickness over your life is broken eternally.

NATURE AND CIRCUMSTANCES
Jesus was in the inner cabin in a ship one day and the storm was heavy. The apostles were really afraid. He slept on unbothered and the apostles asked him ?Do you not care at all that we perish in this storm?? And really Jesus did not care about the storm because he was certain of his ability to call the storm to a halt. ?He who calleth forth the things that be not as though they were? (Rom 4:17).

Several times; our Father in the Lord; Pastor E.A. Adeboye has invoked the power of God to stop the rain and clear the skies. You too can. You are not helpless when nature works against the purpose of God in your life. You can speak your expectations to life.

Dear reader, let me challenge you as we go to our annual Convention themed Dominion. By all means, ensure like Hannah that you do not return without the power to make your ?Samuel? This year′s convention shall be Shiloh unto you in Jesus′ name. You shall come back with Samuel. You shall return with dominion. Happy new month.

Russia 2018 has come and gone. I watched both as a football fan and entrepreneur. Here are a few lessons that I learned from this tournament and I belief they are relevant to your life and business:

1. Talent without character will ruin any man: Croatian striker Nikolai Kalinic is one of only two strikers taken to the world cup by Croatia. He refused to play as sub in the opening match of Croatia against Nigeria when he was brought in the 85th minute because he felt he was better than being a substitute. Next day, he was sent back home by Coach Zlatko Dalic. Few nights ago, his teammates reached the country′s first ever world cup final, while Kalinic missed what could well have been the most historic moment of his career and life.

2. Being Favourites Isn′t Enough: Your game has to live up to the tag. As in the market place so it is in football, performance has to justify being a ?favourite?, else you will get knocked out. Teams like Germany, Spain, Argentina, and Brazil found out the hard way that old glory is never enough to win games. Germany faltered because Joachim L?w used the same tactics from years past, and the team was largely complacent in its approach. If you will do well in business or career you just must keep re-inventing yourself, searching for new talents and aspiring to new heights. If you are in sales meeting, target in a month is never good enough, you must be that person who ALWAYS meets targets. That′s what retain you as favourite. As they say: you are only as good as your last game.

3. Defence Is A Potent Weapon: What underdogs Russia showed against Spain was that if you can defend your goalposts well, then you can withstand losses even if you lack the ability to persistently attack. As Russia did, much to the delight of 78,000 fans in the stadium. A strong goalkeeper took them through to the quarter-finals at the expense of one of the tournament favourites. Any brand that will ultimately succeed big or small must first learn how to retain customers. The reason why most startups fail is the inability to have first-time buyers come back. First-time purchases are good but what is more important is repeat sale. The number one rule of success is defend your lead. That lead can be your best talents or your good customers or even your market share.

4. Teams Win, Not Star Talents : Teams like Argentina and Portugal suffered because of their over-dependence on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Once they were stifled, the teams lost their way. Don?t build your organization all around yourself or any single talent. It′s a recipe for failure. Give ownership to other staffs. Spread responsibilities. There′s always tendency to over-rely on a start talent that always delivers but then you′d be setting yourself up for a single-point-of-failure. The little input of everyone is the real magic wand. It is often the winning edge.

5. To win in life, you need one more player off-the-pitch- Croatia had a twelfth player off the pitch. France had a 12th player off the pitch. For the two teams that got to the final, the Presidents of both countries were particularly interested in the game giving them all the moral support in the worldcup. Even for Russia Vladimir Putin was a big inspiration from off the pitch. The Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovi? was all shades of amazing. Your off-the-pitch player may be your wife/husband, your children, your mentor or mum. They are individuals who have vested interest in your life and success. Their inspiration is fuel to go on and encouragement in the face of failure. When you remember such person(s) on the pitch you only think about winning.
