The NLC and TUC made a bold statement this time and we are pleased

The strike achieved 100% success obviously.

The government of the day is very wicked and stubborn, they don't care about the masses but themselves alone.

No wahala, let us see if every state will be able to pay including the private sector and domestic workers.
There are down sides to this which many ignorant people don't know.
1. Most private companies or even government will downsize which would lead to massive loss of jobs.
2. Those that don't downsize will increase the cost of there products and services rendered.

Last last, inflation will skyrocket and that 60k plus will just be like 10k in the hand.

Which agreement here, until Fg yield to the Labour unions demands, strike continues. The clueless #60k the Fg is proposing here is never justifiable. Even a bag of garri is over 60k. Tinubu and his team should do the needful on the new minimum wage. Things will escalate more if they don’t act on the plight of Nigeria workers though NLC is a compromised organization.

FG should simply state how they arrived at 60k per month. The 100% increase from 30k Is nothing.

A plate of food for a family of 4, in the worst case scenario is 2k and that is 6k per day times 30

This is almost 180k. OK let's say it's 3k per day, that's 90k.

No transport to work, no utility bill payment, no school fees of the kids, clothing and rent.

So how do you expect the worker to cope?

As NLC is insisting, let the FG breakdown the 60k offer into feeding, clothing, rent and education

Nobody is supporting the killings but they shouldn't be killing innocent civilians or burning people's houses and businesses and run away when the armed boys arrived. As they are showing muscle in East, they should do same in North because Northern Nigeria has killed Soldiers more than any tribe.
