In between, you have to manage!

One thing I have recently learned how to do is to figure out my place in people's life. Even those I call friends.
It helps me cut down expectations so as not to place myself where they have not placed me.

In that way, I don't get hurt when they act a certain way or keep certain things away from me.

Know your role in people’s lives based on where they have placed you. Stay there happily or level if you aren’t satisfied.
