Once upon a time, Nigeria was abit safe & secure when Local Government Areas were run effectively because the Local Governments are the closest to the people. Gone are those days when farmers can get fertilizers, tractors, seedlings and other farm inputs from their various Local Government. And the use of local vigilante was efficient. However, things went south immediately selfish emperor governors took over and reduced Local Government to just a mere office in their cabinet. I have to say that the Federal Government's fault in all these mess is just a few and Nigerians are yet to realize that the Governors are cancer to the 5th Republic. The only way out is regionalism and that's when we will all see the rot that the State Governments has caused.
