What a clueless government. Allocating money to state governments with a view to tackling food scarcity, and rising inflation will only result in such money getting misappropriated or looted by corrupt governors. There is no better way to tackle the rising inflation in the country than setting up a price control regime and paying subsidy on essential food commodities with a view to checkmating price inflation. Nigeria is heading for the rocks if this government fails to do the right thing, and won't be wrong before this nation goes down the path of Venezuela and Zimbabwe.
