One of the most remarkable individuals in the world is the artist. Their ability to transform ink and paper into breathtaking masterpieces, guided solely by their imagination, is truly awe-inspiring. As someone who enjoys sketching and has a deep appreciation for imaginative art, I am continually amazed by the creativity and ingenuity of the human mind.

Have you ever befriended a writer? I hold writers in high regard. They rank among the most extraordinary people in my view. Writers are both knowledgeable and wildly imaginative, true fantasists. It's fascinating how they wield words to paint vivid pictures of inner thoughts, crafting stories that transport readers to other worlds and leave them mesmerized. Their art is as captivating and enchanting as that of any visual artist.

Writers possess a unique talent for using language to explore human nature, capturing our fantasies, regrets, dreams, and more. They channel the energy of the universe, bringing to life new realms and realities, and spinning tales that seem to come straight from our dreams.

One of the most striking examples of the power of writing I've encountered was on Facebook. The way certain writers there use words to engage and captivate, leaving readers lost in their narratives, is truly astonishing. It inspired me to delve into writing myself, and it's been an incredibly enjoyable journey.

A mental torment that leaves me yearning for peace.
Their words are like a piercing sting,
A pain so intense it's hard to resist.
Even when I try to disagree,
Their voice is like a cry for freedom, a wail of misery and distress.
Their whisper is authoritative, persuasive,
Urging me to surrender, to obey without question.
The pain becomes too much to bear,
And I'm left with no choice but to succumb to their demands.
I must let go, free myself,
Forget the world, as the voice instructs.
"Forget today, tomorrow is another day..."
A haunting refrain that echoes in my mind.

For my Children, for their Children..

I can offer you advice, but I cannot accept it for you..
I can give you love, but I cannot force it upon you...
I can teach you to share, but I cannot make you unselfish..
I can teach you respect, but I cannot force you to show honor..
I can advise you about friends, but cannot choose them for you..
I can advise you about sex, but I cannot keep you pure..
I can tell you the facts of life, but I can't build your reputation..
I can tell you about drink, but I can't say "no" for you..
I can warn you about drugs, but I can't prevent you from using them..
I can tell you about lofty goals, but I can't achieve them for you..
I can teach you about kindness, but I can't force you to be gracious..
I can warn you about sins, but I cannot make you moral..
I can love you as a child, but I cannot place you in God's family..
I can pray for you, but I cannot make you walk with God..
I can teach you about Jesus, but I cannot make Jesus your Lord..
I can tell you how to live, but I cannot give you eternal life..
I can love you with unconditional love all of my life...and I will..
