What is the maximum loan amount a student can acquire?
Also if a student in year 2 should acquire this loan, is it enough to meet all his needs till he graduates or will he have to take another loan along the line?

48,000 is still too small. The cost of things are on the high side. That minimum wage can't possibly feed a family of 8 for a full month
