In as much as I would like Israel to abide to a reasonable extent by the laws of war, I still don't support any call for ceasefire until Hamas is dismantled and crushed to avoid further existential threat to the nation of Isreal. Israel is within its legitimate right to self defence.

Soyinka's justification is because of how he was bullied on social media by the "Obidients." If that's the case, then Soyinka’s opinion is borne out of emotional sentiments and not on a valid or justifiable ground of Obi really being incompetent.
