This topic is no longer of serious concern it has been rested; moreover the opinion that military bases will bring Nigeria into confrontation with another superpower is borne out of sheer ignorance of the political theatrics of the global superpowers. Hasn't Nigeria been romancing US for a long decades, we practice their sytem of government buy bulk of our military weapons with them engage in other diplomatic tie and yet it hadn't brought any confrontation. Some people shouldn't be airing their voices, their thoughts are so myopic.

That's my view too, Fubara is only a governor because of the brokered peace with the president if not by now, Sim Fubara would've ceased to be the governor of Rivers.

There once was a county! It's sad that what we've today is a land of corrupt officials. Isn't that an irony? Officials who are fighting to stabilise the economy are using the backdoor to sabotage same effort. What a country. Our notoriety keeps speaking more of this corrupt nation. Once again I'm sad for my country. I ask, how did we get here?

What's is happening in Russia is far from Democracy but rather a "monocracy" or would I rather term it mobocracy. Putin has opposed the rise of any opposition and that's is bad.

I can't agree more. Sir. Gowon stated the obvious however, the assertion is subjective in nature. That's purely Gowon's viewpoint.

That's a nice development. Nigeria should embrace same; citizens in diaspora should be able to do so.

Nigeria must do what is after their interest. The last thing we should care about is Binace operating their company in Nigeria. Our economy comes first and that's the most important thing.

When a court of competent jurisdiction is yet to pass a verdict on the case of the defection, it is however, unwise and a funny statement by the G-60 to declare that these lawmakers were "ipso facto" non legit lawmakers. The G-60 should also be aware that it's the grace of the brokered peace that still keeps Fubara as the Governor of River State. He should have been impeached.
