The UN Security Council isn't living up to its responsibility of maintaining global peace. The reason is simple "veto power" the veto power by the global power heavyweight wouldn't allow the Security Council to do what's necessary. However, I align with Saudi Arabia that they're should be restraint. But in the event where it's impossible to restraint then, let the middle East burn then, the powerful wins, simple!

I would like to align with Saudi Arabia I calling for restraint. The attack was indiscriminate and unprecedented which is condemable however, since only 1% of the over 300 missiles was sucessful. Let the issue not be escalated cause the middle East and the entire globe will feel the impact. Israel should restraint but No! I know they wouldn't.

With a reserved respect to Mr. Bolaji in his experience as former foreign minister. However, I choose to differ , to the extent that it's Iran that is provoking Isreal to war. The Al-aqsa flood of October 7 was masterminded with the help of Iran, Hesbollah is being sponsored by Iran, the Houthi is sponsored by Iran and many other militant groups that are fighting against the existence of Isreal and you want Israel to fold arm without attacking a perceived enemy who is hiding in Syria, infact who was part of the brain behind an attack that claimed nothing less than a thousand Israeli lives. It doesn't happen that way. Isreal have every right to defending themselves including destroying enemies target against them.
