What a sad way to die. The FRSC and LASTMA shouldn't shy away from their responsibility in arresting drivers violating the road regulations...life is invaluable. Also, if it's going to be achievable these public transport should have seatbelt to avoid this kind of tragic event.

It's always healthy for a nation to have opposition that keeps a subsisting administration constantly on it toes. However, all criticism should be constructive and void of clout chasing.

From the policies thus far, it seems obvious that things would get better under this current administration. It may not be the best but it would be better, so I would wish to align my voice with that of his Excellency to call on patriotic Nigerians to keep hope Alive!

Echoes of Decay

In the heart of Africa's vast expanse,
Where the sun's golden rays once danced,
Lies a tale of politics gone astray,
A decaying nature in disarray.

Oh, African politics, once filled with hope,
Now tangled in a web of deceit and scope,
Corruption's grip tightens its vice,
As power-hungry leaders roll the dice.

Beneath the shades of baobab trees,
Whispers carry on the restless breeze,
Promises made, but never fulfilled,
As the dreams of the people are slowly killed.

The soil, once fertile, now tainted with greed,
As politicians sow their selfish seed,
They watch as division takes its toll,
While unity crumbles, taking a heavy toll.

Empty words flow from silver tongues,
While poverty's grip around the land clings strong,
Resources plundered, wealth amassed,
Leaving the masses in shadows cast.

Oh, Africa, your beauty still remains,
But the decaying politics inflict deep pains,
Leadership tainted, trust eroded,
Leaving the hopes of the people corroded.

Yet amidst the darkness, a flicker of light,
The spirit of change, ready to ignite,
A new generation, rising with pride,
To mend the fractures, side by side.

Let us reclaim our political sphere,
With integrity, justice, and compassion clear,
For Africa's destiny lies within our hands,
To heal the wounds and rebuild the lands.

May the decaying nature of politics fade,
As a new era dawns, unafraid,
Africa, arise, let your voice resound,
In a symphony of progress, profound.

Netanyahu and his cabinet are consumed of rage against Hamas but the truth be told they're making a grave mistake. It's obvious and may be true that Hamas may still have access to the foodstuffs being supplied to the victims of the ongoing war in Gaza but denying the supply of food to the victims of non-combatants is a grate war crime. You don't starve a population of a million people because of a crime of few thousands, it's not done anywhere. They're should be a temporary ceasefire for food to get to those refugee camps. And concerning Rafah, they're should be more holistic approach to the invasion, to mitigate loss of civilian lives and influx of people of Gaza to Egypt, thereby leaving behind part of what is their homeland.

When the issue of genocidal crimes are raised, it leaves a dust of doubt and debate across sides as to wether it's really a genocide or war crime. Most at attimes we categorie war crimes as genocides reason being that the two share similar elements. War crime involves intentional killing of innocent group of people with justification of war, on the other hand genocide should be clearly defined as an unprovoked killing of mass number of people either in a war time or non war time. A clear and an unambiguous genocide is the "Holocaust." Here Late. Hitler ordered the massacre of millions of Jews not because they're fighting was against Jews but because it is a time of war and he and many other German and few Europeans hated Jews, what is called Antisemitism. Hence, sometimes what is genocide is debatable. However, while war crime is subject to justications genocide is not. What's happening in Gaza today is obviously "a war crime" and never a genocide.

Just like it happened in Nigeria earlier this year with the tag: "all eyes on the judiciary," same eyes was fixated on the South-African judiciary and trust our judiciary they NEVER FAIL (for the wrong reasons). Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma (Nxamalala) who was convinced and sentenced a sign and bacon of hope that the judiciary in the South-Africa is living up to it's mandate as the resort of justice just took another direction this week.

In any case, the political will of the people of South-Africa will determine whether Nxamalala (as he's being called) dervers his last term in the office against Cyril Ramaphoza.
