Nigeria has been working with US on military cooperation for ages now. Has it been able to curb the insecurity level in the country. I doubt! We buy military hardwares from them and receive military training from them. Yet it's not working. It's high-time we look into our own issues by ourselves.

Even if petrol price in Nigeria remains one of the lowest on the continent despite the pump price of about 700 naira, what we care about is the hardship the current price had brought on us.
Other countries have currencies with better value and some have a better minimum wage in respect to the economic situation in their countries. Another thing is GDPA is evenly distributed among citizens. It's a different story in Nigeria. Infrastructure wise we're nothing to talk about: no good roads, no government sponsored long and swift buses, not enough functioning trains, etc.
So yes, our pump price may still be cheapest in the world but given our situation, it's the most expensive.
