Tho this is applaudable for listening to the Labour after enough cajoling and threats of strike but is the increase in the minimum wage comparable to the increase in cost of commodity and standard of living now? Let's see how it runs out..

N70000 is not too bad for civil servants, even if the price of goods and services are on the high rate, but my problem is if all the state governments will agreed to pay their workers the N70000, if the previous minimum wage some states are still struggling to pay.

My friend from Kebbi had to score only 23 out of 400 marks to secure admission into the Kebbi state university of science and technology in 2021 but his mate from Anambra needs at least 260 points to study the same course. Why the bias?
