Funny how they're treating the nation-wide protest as a matter of urgency but completely and consistently ignored the cries of the populace which has now formed the grounds for the protest.

I love the part of heavy security. The security should be there to direct them and to ensure that the protest doesn't turn violent. Anyone who wishes otherwise should be have the security personnel to contend with.

I stand with IGP on this. Inasmuch as we all collectively and unarguably admit that protest is a right which is undeniable; we should hence have it written bold in our heart that the watchword is "peaceful protest," violent protest isn't a right.

The government is using all means to restrict the protesters from turning the protest into a violent one. I understand their fear and I share in their fear, too. Life is invaluable and security of life and properties is one of the primary goals of every government.

What do you need to know the organizers for? We don't want to hear later on that so so and so persons were targeted for political witch hunt. The organizers are serious hunger, inflation, general bad government policies. They are the ones leading the protest. Your own responsibility is to ensure that it is a peaceful one.

The IGP knows what time it is. These troublemakers are just looking for a chance to cause chaos and destruction. Instead of seeking genuine change, they want to create more problems for innocent Nigerians. It's high time the authorities put their foot down and deal with these arsonists decisively because they are thugs from Government. Enough of the nonsense!

Imagine that you spend just 2000 naira on food daily ( and that is even being very conservative, and probably eating just twice a day), it means that you'd be spending about 60000 naira on food alone in a month. We have not even considered other expenses such as transportation, electricity, gas, airtime, etc. All these on the minimum wage of 70000 naira. Haba now!
