This is what happens when leadership is about personal gain rather than the greater good. It's no wonder Abuja lacks basic infrastructure

Eloquence Criteria

I was searching for who wrote opinion for quiz and didn't find till I changed to poor, spammy (something like that) and I saw @alexclara under spammy or suppressed opinions. So I'm wondering 🤔
@mindviewer what is really the standard? Cuz @alexclara, I like her posts and you have also boosted many of her posts. Even her opinion that was marked spam didn't look like spam.
Also, what will someone do to clear the suppression, is it automatic or manual? Please it will be educative for me and others who don't even understand how it works.
Thanks in advance 👍

It's not ideal in our current economic situation. With inflation on the rise and the value of the naira fluctuating, implementing such a policy would put an enormous burden on businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. Nigeria no be U.S ooo

A scammer

My friend received a suspicious call from a scammer pretending to be from the bank. The scammer asked for his FCMB account number, but my friend didn't have one. The scammer was persistent and asked my friend to get an account number from someone else. Unfortunately, my friend asked me for my account number, not realizing it was a scam.

I gave my account number to my friend, unaware of the situation. The scammer then tried to log in to my account, but the bank sent an OTP (one-time password) to my phone. That's when I realized something was wrong! I knew I hadn't tried to log in to my account, so I suspected fraud. I quickly called my bank to confirm, and they told me someone was trying to withdraw money from my account.

I was lucky to have caught on in time. I immediately ended the call account and changed my password. The scammer was unable to withdraw any money, thanks to my quick thinking.

My friend felt terrible for almost falling victim to the scam. We both learned a valuable lesson: never share personal banking information with anyone, especially over the phone.

Thanks to my quick action, my money was safe, and we both became more aware of how to avoid scams in the future. Always be cautious when receiving unsolicited calls, and never share sensitive information 🙏

Electric Fire

It was a cold and dark night, the second day without electricity in our area. We were all sitting in the dimly lit room, waiting for PHCN to restore electricity as the strike had been suspended. Suddenly, we heard a humming sound and the lights came back to life.

We were so relieved and happy to have electricity back. We turned on our TVs, fridge fans, and lights, enjoying the cool breeze and bright lights. But our joy was brief.

Just as we were settling in, we heard a loud pop from the living room. We rushed in to find that our two TVs had blown up, smoke rising from the screens. We were in shock, wondering what had just happened. My father ran for the cut-out and disconnected it before any more issues came.

But that was not the only problem. We soon realized that the wires connected to our neighbor's house had caught fire. Flames were licking at the windows, and we knew we had to act fast.
We quickly scooped handfuls of wet sand and threw it at the fire, trying to put it out. It was a desperate moment, but we managed to stop the fire from spreading. Our neighbor's house was saved, but the damage was done.

We were left standing in the darkness, surrounded by the smell of smoke and burnt wires. Two days of blackout, and then this.
We later learned that the electricity surge had caused the damage. Everyone was safe, at least that's what matters for now and the issue will be fixed soon
