How I always overcome my challenges

From secondary school to university, challenges have been a constant in my life. My journey began with navigating the trials of adolescence: making friends, finding my identity, and keeping up with academics. I had to strike a balance between my studies and my social life, all while dealing with the pressures of exams and extracurriculars.

There were times when I felt overwhelmed, particularly when trying to grasp new concepts or meet tight deadlines. But I always reminded myself, "This day will pass." This mantra gave me the strength to push through, taking one task at a time and focusing on the bigger picture. I would seek help when needed, whether from teachers, classmates, or family.

As I moved on to university, the challenges evolved but never disappeared. The workload increased, and the expectations were higher. I faced intense competition and had to manage my time more effectively than ever. Yet, my approach remained the same: I faced each obstacle head-on, knowing that it was just another hurdle to overcome.

Group projects and presentations tested my patience and communication skills. But I found ways to collaborate effectively, even when facing differing opinions and ideas. Staying calm and grounded helped me navigate these situations.

Personal challenges also emerged during this time—managing relationships, handling homesickness, and balancing a part-time job with my studies. These added layers of complexity to my life, but my mantra kept me focused: "This day will pass."

As I progress in my university journey, I know that more challenges await me. But with each one, I grow stronger and more resilient. My experiences have taught me that no matter how tough the day, it will pass, and I will come out the other side wiser and more capable.

I hope Nigeria becomes better, as the coming generation will only hear the story, but won't witness what we are witnessing.
