Hey there! So, Mother's Day is just around the corner, and I gotta say, it's a pretty big deal! I mean, where would we be without our moms, right? They're the ones who brought us into this world, raised us, fed us, clothed us, and loved us unconditionally. And let's be real, they're the real superheroes out there! So, on this special day, we get to shower them with love, appreciation, and gratitude. Whether it's a bouquet of flowers, a heartfelt card, or a fancy dinner, let's make sure to show our moms just how much they mean to us. Happy Mother's Day, moms! Today many people are celebrating Mother's Day.

My google calendar says it's Mothering Sunday.

From my research it's a day which many people celebrate mothers all over the world as Christians

I also observerd that some churches celebrate "Mothering Sunday" as a day set aside to worship in thier mother church (ie the church where they were brought up and dedicated as kids before moving to a different location, due to college, marriage, jobs etc.) This event is always a memorable one as children present gift to their mothers to appreciate and celebrate them.

Further research also shows that Roman Catholic and some few countries celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May.

My question is which one is more recognized globally?

Do Churches still observe the traditionally Mothering Sunday as stated above?

Happy Mother's Day/Mothering Sunday to all Mothers and aspiring mother's out there.

I celebrate you all.
