I doubt Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger will return to the ECOWAS. ECOWAS was too hasty to impose sanctions on them without looking at the institutional problems in each of it members states. Tinubu even threatened war on Niger.

With the emergence of the Sahel Alliance another regional bloc that will actively compete with the ECOWAS, it might be difficult to secure their return. I hope the bloc doesn't loose more member states to the Sahel Alliance.

I wonder the kind of realistic demand the president requires from labour! I am of the opinion that labour demands are in line with the current economic realities of the country, where prices of every single commodities have triple almost beyond the reach of the common man. Other big nations in Africa pay a minimum wage higher than what the NLC is demanding for.

The problem with labour is that they are bringing up unrealistic demands, and the federal government does not even intend to increase this. They both look like children throwing tantrums at each other. Labour has to bring in realistic demand and stand their ground. Not shifting after every meeting with the FG
