Obasanjo's submission on the issue of senate fixing their salaries is correct. It's certainly immoral to fix your salary. Although, himself was a president for eight years and didn't make an attempt in the right direction to stop it. In the interest of the country there should be an independent body responsible for fixing the allowances and salaries of this legislators. And their salaries and allowances should be in line with the national minimum wage, they should not be entitled to pensions.
