In light of the gross abuse of referral reward program,
it has become daunting task for our team to keep up with the pace of those:
Creating several accounts by same individuals as referrals;

Many are even putting gibberish names and some randomizing their names with numbers
Then they post SPAM texts as opinions; and like/comment on it to gain influence.

We have been having to continually remove/suppress the accounts noticed to maintain sanity of the platform,
but it's seriously taking up the team's productive hours. (Thousands of fake accounts)

Hence, it's apparent that referral reward is essentially encouraging spamming of MindViewers, and thereby degrading the quality.
If you have previously earned referral-claps; you can still withdrawal claps.

In fact, you can continue converting your existing referrals claps till their validity (90 days)

Referral Claps & Withdrawals
It's now possible to get assessment of your referrals before placing your withdrawals.
This will help you prevent the cases of canceled withdrawals. Note that we still manually review referrals as we have individuals creating literally hundreds of spam referral accounts

Meanwhile, total referral claps is now 30 claps ≈ $0.3 or ₦150 “10 claps immediately they signup, and 20 claps when their profile get up to 80% updated.”
(after analysis of figures; we finally discover that this is the perfect and conveniently sustainable arrangement for us)

Videos & Talent Exhibition

We've increased the maximum video file-size to 20mb, to allow longer video length.

Now, you can only post a video if it's your talent exhibition.

As talent exhibition videos are now being hosted on Youtube; it affords us with a smoother playing of videos.

We just receive report from those saying that; whenever they post anything or comment on NairaLand.com, containing MindViewers, they remove it “(as long as it mentions MindViewers.com at all)”
