Need for food subsidy

I think we need subsidies on essential food
items like rice, beans and others. The minimum wage alone will not solve the
hardship as the government is not ready or willing to pay a substantial salary to
alleviate the suffering.
If the government subsidies food items it'll
go a long way to reduce the suffering of
Nigerians, not only salary earners will
enjoy this but everyone.

NLC and others shouldn't have called off the
strike until demand is met, calling off the strike may slow down the process as usual. The NLC
and others should remember to address issues of possible hikes or increases in prices of
commodities.

Minimum wage

I don't think the government has any good
package for the people. A tin of gari sold at N25.00 before the subsidy removal is now sold at N250.00, yet they claimed they are working for the masses when already they were shearing millions of naira among
themselves ignoring the ordinary Nigerians for many months now all in the name deliberating the amount to workers as the minimum wage.

These pressure groups are doing the right thing the strike should not be suspended until
our demand is met. There was no deliberation or series' of sittings when they wanted to remove the subsidy but now a big problem for them to alleviate the suffering of the people.

New national anthem

The new national anthem is an indication of what concerns our leaders or representatives most despite the economic hardship facing our people.
