Imagine senior prison officer offered bribe. I can't even explain exactly what went wrong with Nigerians: politicians and some public office holders are well paid to distract them from corruption but yet they remain number on the fo-front in issues like this.

SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE

If the government is not willing or ready to work on reduction in petrol price and some other vital goods, then they should be able to increase the minimum wage to balance the hike out there.

HAPPY MAWLID

On the occasion of Mawlid, which is the birth anniversary of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW), we must discuss some of his teachings, such as mercy, love and unity. This special day of his acknowledges his birth, his life, the worth he lived for and the leadership he gave to mankind.

Let us pay homage to his noble gesture to carry forward the elements of positive change, such as kindness, understanding and peace among the people. May we all attempt to emulate his lifestyle and, in the process, encourage others to do the same. Happy Mawlid to all!

RESULTS OF VOTE BUYING MANIFESTING GRADUALLY

We must stop shouting our leaders are bad. Perhaps, we should start shouting we're bad. Nigerians are now experiencing some results of the vote-buying. We don't vote for personality but money. If our leaders are bad truly then it also means the electorates are worse.
