In as much as it's good for political leadership positions should be evenly distributed across Nigeria.. this kind of situation is not always possible in a multi party democracy..the regions that played opposition politics but lost elections should not expect evenly distributed political leadership positions across board.. this is the price and consequence you pay for playing opposition politics..??
During the general election of 1979 the south west Yoruba played opposition politics but lost elections..and no political leadership position went to the south west..the president shagari govt of 1979-1983 gave Anambra state alone vice president Ekwueme and the speaker of the house of representatives Ezeego.. while the south west Yoruba had no political leadership position at all..
