The Presidency in Nigeria has claimed that the European Union (EU) lacks substantial evidence to support its allegation that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and its national leader, Bola Tinubu, rigged the 2023 presidential election. The EU had recently stated that it has concerns about the fairness and transparency of the upcoming elections in Nigeria. However, the Nigerian Presidency has questioned the basis of these concerns and has accused the EU of bias and interference in the country's electoral process.
