I choose to differ in light of Ndume's opinion. To me, it's not wrong timing and nothing is wrong with removing subsidy in the electricity tariff. Let's make it clear, the removal of subsidy is only applicable to those enjoying 20+ hours of power supply while for those poor Nigerians enjoying less there will be subsidy for it. So if you look at it critically, it is the rich that are enjoying this 20+ hrs of power supply and of course it makes no sense subsidising for the rich when it costs the government more.
