When the issue of genocidal crimes are raised, it leaves a dust of doubt and debate across sides as to wether it's really a genocide or war crime. Most at attimes we categorie war crimes as genocides reason being that the two share similar elements. War crime involves intentional killing of innocent group of people with justification of war, on the other hand genocide should be clearly defined as an unprovoked killing of mass number of people either in a war time or non war time. A clear and an unambiguous genocide is the "Holocaust." Here Late. Hitler ordered the massacre of millions of Jews not because they're fighting was against Jews but because it is a time of war and he and many other German and few Europeans hated Jews, what is called Antisemitism. Hence, sometimes what is genocide is debatable. However, while war crime is subject to justications genocide is not. What's happening in Gaza today is obviously "a war crime" and never a genocide.
