    “But my concern now is the 30k minimum wage of since 2019 hasn’t been implemented in some states till now. The ones that pay 30k borrows loan from federal govt to pay salaries! Only few states have been able to pay salaries! So tell me what the situation would be after arriving at 65-70k minimum wage? E go burst o. This is why I say we should fight for a good economy and not salary”

    On one hand, it makes sense to allow states to adapt to their own economic conditions. But on the other hand, it would most definitely lead to exploitation of workers in states. Another way for FG to bypass the right thing

    As someone rightly said, looks like the release of the 100k was a ruse by the FG to test the waters and the reaction of the people.. The NGF reacted that they won't pay above 70k and private sector reacted saying they won't pay above 60k.. So therefore after getting the reaction they needed all they had to do was put the amount between 60 and 70k.. Smart old men

    Several interventions by NGOs and governmental bodies yet no meaningful improvement in the lives of the IDPS, because the junks of the money usually end in personal pockets. Its so unfortunate.

    This is effective, it might sound or look selfish , but the states are not equal. The price of goods differs in these states and it depends on what you want to buy. I just hope the governors will be responsible in deciding on what to pay.
