And God blessed them, and God said unto them; Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Nothing dwarfs a man more than the smallness of his own mind. Nothing incapacitates a man like the lack of vision. God speaking to Abraham in Gen 13:15 said to him ?For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.?. Greatness happens when a people grow their capacity intentionally. Every day, opportunities stroll by unnoticed while people remain perpetually in penury. Why?

It is important to note that enlargement can never happen without an increase in capacity. Let′s call to mind the story of the Widow of one of the Sons of the Prophets for a moment. Elisha had instructed her to go and get all the vessels she can. Borrow, buy, anyhow you can increase your capacity. Why did Elisha do this? He knew that if that woman does not increase her capacity she would limit the God of increase. She knew she had vessels too little to contain God′s increase. 2Kings 4:1-7
While it is God who enlarges and lifts a man it is the duty of man to acquire the capacity to contain the enlargement of God. The reason many have not received that enlargement is entirely because there is absolutely no room to take more. Jesus speaking to the disciples in John 16: 12 says “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now?. Can you imagine that? Jesus had a lot of revelation to give the Apostles but they lacked the capacity to bear them.

So how do you enlarge your capacity?
One, read
Paul admonishing Timothy in the book of 2 Tim 2:15 says study “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth“. No one can get any approval for enlargement who does not increase the level of his knowledge of God and of things around him. If you will not read, your capacity can NEVER increase and there will not be enlargement. The Bible talks about those “that know their God being strong and doing exploits“.?Those that know?. Without knowledge you can′t grow. You can′t do exploits.

Secondly, who are the people that influence you?
An English adage says if you stay around long enough in the barber′s shop you will get a hair cut. A Yoruba adage says if a sheep stays around a company of dogs long enough it would eat shit. The Bible says ?Be not deceived, bad communication corrupts good manners?. Please understand dear reader that glory is very easily corrupted by staying around with lay-abouts. Your capacity can never increase if your circle of friends is ?Low-life-dwellers“. Imagine, on the day that Elisha asked the Widow of one of the Sons of the Prophets to go borrow vessesels, if all her friends were poor people who cannot even afford a vessel.
Today, I challenge you to be deliberate about the kinds of people that you let into your space. Screen out those who are adding no value and are not prepare to add value to you. Look out for people whose lives inspire you.

Lastly, pursue your goals.
If you will succeed in life, hardwork will have to be your middle name. No anointing can replace the need to work hard. Jesus was the most anointed of all men that ever lived , yet he prayed so hard his sweat was thick as blood. If you will see any growth it will reqiure that you work. Not moderate work but hard work. Happy New Month. The Lord will remember you for good in this new month in Jesus name

A passport is a valid document that qualifies a person to travel from one country to another. But it′s not enough to have a passport to travel; your passport must be valid with a visa before you can enter a foreign country.
Similarly, our lives on earth can be likened to a journey to another life in heaven. And everyone (including children) must have what it takes to get to heaven.
This implies that no one can get to heaven without a genuine salvation experience.

As parents, understand that your primary assignment in this world is to ensure that your child has a valid passport (genuine salvation) that will get him/her to heaven. It′s your responsibility to discern whether your child is genuinely saved or not. The fact your child is raised in a Christian home, goes to church with you, prays, memorizes bible verses, are not enough to assume the he/she is genuinely saved.

Look beyond your child quiet, moral and religious disposition. Interact with your child; watch him/her among their friends and siblings. Pray that God should open your eyes to see where he/she needs help, and then pray for his/her salvation until you are sure that your child is actually saved.
Also, don′t ever think your child′s salvation will come accidentally, you need to partner with Holy Ghost and make a conscious, deliberate effort to make it happen.

Use all available resources at your disposal to ensure that your child is genuinely saved.

And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

What does it mean to have dominion?
Dominion means having authority and rule over a thing, principle or a geographical arena. Dominion means being fully in charge and capable of determining what happen or does not happen.
To fully understand dominion it might be helpful to explain it with opposite of Dominion which is ?Subjugation?. Subjugation is being under rule without the capacity to determine what you do, want, or even think. Subjugation; as is seen with the children of Israel may even mean being incapable of dreaming big dreams or even serving your own God.
Subjugation is terrible. When a man is subjugated the rewards of his work is reaped by another man. This basically means that he cannot even determine the course of his own life or future. The worst part of subjugation is that a man cannot actually free himself.

Imagine, how Modecai, who was a slave in Babylon did the king Ahasuerus a great favour, he exposed a plot by three men who sought to kill the king. When it was time to give reward, Hamman, the arch enemy of Modecai and his people (Israel) was the one who was promoted as Prime Minister making him second only to the king. In spite of this, Modecai could not protest; Why?- because slaves have no rights whatsoever. This is how bad subjugation can be.
For everyone reading this who are under the despotic reign of Lucifer; may the Almighty God give you freedom today in Jesus′ name.
The devil is a bad devil. When he wins a man, he captures his life, ambition, health, destiny, family, academics, and even future; just about everything. He leaves him no room to even attempt an escape.
But, our God is a good God. He continually shows mankind his own salvation (Ps 91:16). One of the best promise he made to us in all of his holy book is the promise of all-round dominion

What should we have dominion over?

SIN
Paul speaking to the Roman church in Rom 6: 13-14 says ?Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin; but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under the law, but under grace.?
The devil subjugates men to do sinful things even against their own very wish. People get into drugs and then cannot get out because they are hooked. People get into lesbianism and alcoholism and find it hard to quit. Sin is compelling them to its ways each day. People lie willfully to the point where they have no honour. But the promise of God is this ?Sin shall no longer reign in your mortal bodies?
SICKNESS
11But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also give life to {quicken} your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.
This is the final verdict over sickness. The Spirit of Jesus gives life that renews our mortal bodies. I pray for anyone reading this bulletin right now who has been struggling with any long-term sickness or the other, the word of God is saying to you today ?But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for {of} our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.? Sickness in your body, blood stream and marrows are cursed in Jesus name. Begining from today, the grip of sickness over your life is broken eternally.

NATURE AND CIRCUMSTANCES
Jesus was in the inner cabin in a ship one day and the storm was heavy. The apostles were really afraid. He slept on unbothered and the apostles asked him ?Do you not care at all that we perish in this storm?? And really Jesus did not care about the storm because he was certain of his ability to call the storm to a halt. ?He who calleth forth the things that be not as though they were? (Rom 4:17).

Several times; our Father in the Lord; Pastor E.A. Adeboye has invoked the power of God to stop the rain and clear the skies. You too can. You are not helpless when nature works against the purpose of God in your life. You can speak your expectations to life.

Dear reader, let me challenge you as we go to our annual Convention themed Dominion. By all means, ensure like Hannah that you do not return without the power to make your ?Samuel? This year′s convention shall be Shiloh unto you in Jesus′ name. You shall come back with Samuel. You shall return with dominion. Happy new month.

5 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon′s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

People who want to travel fast go it alone but people who need to go far travel with a team. In life, a single man can only do so much, unfortunately, we have a world that celebrates ?single-man? heroes whereas; there is no hero who is ever ?self-made? Every great outcomes of life is frequently the product of excellent teams. The story is often told of the gatekeeper at NASA America?s aero Space agency who was asked by President John F. Kennedy ?What are you doing?? His response: I am helping to place a man on the moon.

Partnership in life is key in achieving success. It is important to state however that it is not all partnerships that will move your life forward. There are some partnerships which destroy rather than enhance destiny. The partnership between Abraham and Lot almost ruined the vision of Abraham. Imagine if Abraham was still with Lot in Sodom. He would probably have lost his possessions and God?s promises of blessings like Lot did. In life we must run away from bad influences. The book of Amos asks a germane question ?Can two work together except they be agreed?? The agreement in partnership should not just be mental accent but also an agreement in purpose and vision.
My particular focus today dear reader; is your partnership with God. Why do you need to partner with God?

First, you must know that all of the life of a man is a race! We are constantly running and all of that race will be a rat race if is it is not aided by grace. But what is grace? Grace is basically G(God)+Race=Grace. If the God factor is not included in your race in life for the full length of life you can?t do more than run a rat race. The rat race wears a man. Rat race brings no real fruitfulness but a partnership with God always does. A partnership with God brings the grace for ease into your entire race. Would you rather have that ease or continue to toil. Now, something tells me that you have toiled enough and desperately desire the rest of God. Were it not for the grace of God Peter would have returned home empty that night.

Secondly, I should point out that the most important criteria for walking with God is absolute obedience. It would perhaps interest you to know that those who ?know too much? will hardly ever succeed walking with God. Those four words of Peter strike me each time I read them. ?Never the less at thy word...? It simply doesn?t make sense. Now here is the most annoying part: how would Jesus be requesting help from a frustrated man? Peter had been frustrated all night, he just wanted to wash his boat and go to rest then Jesus came and was now asking him to do some work- a total stranger o. Peter had to wait again for Jesus to finish his preaching, someone who did not sleep all through the night. If it was anyone else the reaction will naturally be furious. I?d probably have sounded like ?Guy, if you don? get out of my way now...? But Peter was too smart for that. And the result is one of the world?s most phenomenal miracles. On top of that miracle he became the fisher of men. This year, if you will get more from your ?boat? stupid obedience to the voice of God is non-negotiable.

[18] Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
[19] Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Dear friend, welcome to a brand new year. I would love to ask you a question: better was your last year than the one before? The sing song of many is the victories of yester years. They have no new victories. They have covered no new grounds. Please hear me dear reader, any man who prides himself only of victories of yesterday is a man of yesterday. He has no relevance in the now. May you not be that kind of man.
May I have you know that God is only delighted in men who make conscious efforts to move ahead each day? He spoke in Exodus 14:15 ?And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.? Hebrew 10:38 says ?? but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.? God is not interested in those who keep on a spot. God is not delighted in those who draw back. His only delight is progress- new thing!
Our God is a dynamic God. Every new day He renews His glory. Every new day He does something greater. Many are so used to the ways of yesterday that they do not imagine new things. Many are locked in their expectations that they do not dream bigger dreams. For as many people who are held back by the victories of yesterday God will give you a new ground to conquer in Jesus name. Do you know dear friend that the problem of some people is the victory of old?
Let us examine the spiritual import of Isa 43:18-19 for a moment.
??I will even make a way in the wilderness??(Isa 3:19B) I do not know that man or woman who is reading this piece right now and all around you there is thick darkness; no light or any sign that there will soon be light. You have come to the limits of your wits and the end of your wisdom. But the word of God is coming to you today. God is making a way of escape for you. Dear reader, I like you to know that the delight of God is doing the impossible. Impossibility is the specialty of our God.
The book of Mark Chapter 4 recorded the event of the wild storm when Jesus was asleep right at the innermost part of the cabin. Everyone in that ship on that day was afraid. They believed they would die. But Jesus right in the middle of the storm was fast asleep; it took some time to even wake Him. They said to him ?Carest not thou that we perish?? That day Jesus did one more new thing. Right in their presence he spoke the word ?Peace be still? and the wind obeyed. They exclaimed ?What manner of man is this? Even the wind and the storms obey him?. Listen to me reader: that long-standing problem of your life that you believe would cost you a fortune or even your life savings will disappear at the word of the master.
In Isa 43:19C God says ?I will make rivers in the desert?. Please note, NOT ?a river? BUT ?rivers?. By definition a desert is a place where no plant can grow because there is never water in and around it. As a result of this a desert is always lonely and deserted. Is there anyone reading this piece who is in that condition? Perhaps you have been avoided by men like a plague. It could be because of a malignant medical condition or a terrible financial situation. It is even possible that family and friends do not pick your calls anymore; maybe you have become so much a burden to them. Hear me dear reader, your glory will speak yet again. Very soon men will come to the glory of your rising. I have the assurance of God to say to you this day ?You will not die like this? God, even our God will show up for you. Behold, our God will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? He will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers our deserts

Text: 1 Kings 18:45
“And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.“

When air moves in a certain direction we say wind is blowing. Winds are of several categories, magnitude or velocities and direction. Winds are mostly defined by the direction of their movement. Back in elementary school, we learned of the North-East Trade wind and the South-West Trade wind. The North-Eastern winds are responsible for bringing harmattan while the South-Western winds herald the raining season.
Just as it is in geography, so it is in life. The different seasons in the life of a man are heralded first by the kind of winds blowing in his direction. When a wind of dryness blows over the destiny of a man, he enters period of grueling lack and indescribable need. When a wind of abundance blows it won?t be long before there is manifestation of plenty. Winds are signs by God to man of what is to come.
Prophet Elijah said to King Ahab ?I can hear the sound of abundance of rain? (1 kg 18:21). That?s the wind of glory.
Let us examine two types of winds repeatedly mentioned in the Bible: The East Wind and the West Wind.
The East Wind as demonstrated in the Bible is the wind of judgement and destruction Genesis 41:27 ? And the seven thin and evil appearing cows that came up after them are seven years. And the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.
This was the dream of Pharaoh as explained by Joseph. It was the East wind that brought the terrible famine upon Egypt as prophesied.
Ex 10:13 ? ?And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locust. And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coast of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such?
The East Wind is the wind of destruction sending locusts and worms in the direction of a man. If is often fierce, like a storm destroying everything in its way. I pray for you dear reader, wherever you are experiencing the ehirl winds of the East in your life, God will put a stop to it today.
Please understand that righteousness and redemption does not shield any man from the East winds. Righteousness and redemption gives a man victory over it. Jesus is the most anointed man who ever walked the earth, the wind confronted him still. But you know my joy? At the end of that episode, everyone that was present marvelled, ?What manner of man is this, even the sea and the winds obey him?. That is the ONLY promise God make to you, the promise of victory.
West Wind:
Exodus 10:19 ? And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coast of Egypt.
We see the West wind in the Book of Exodus, dealing with locusts. Locusts are agents of famine. They represent destruction of fortunes. The West wind is an agent of restoration bringing ease, rain, plenty and restoration in its wake. That is what you will experience this year in Jesus? name.
Why are we talking about winds? Just two reasons: to know ahead of time when the devil is sending a season of anomaly and pray against it. Secondly, to know ahead of time when God is sending your harvest, expect it and protect it. The Bible talks about the children of Issachar, who had understanding of times and season. Part of our spiritual sensitivity is to know what the devil is sending and what God is sending per time.
As I round off, I like to charge you with the words of God in Deut 2:24 ?Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand, Sihon the Amorite, king of Hesbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.? To see the wind of rain give way to abundant rain, you need to contend. The West wind is a sign of what God has given but hey, to see it manifest you will contend in prayer and in praise.
As you do so this month, may the month of November deliver every outstanding grace of 2017 for you in Jesus? name.
