My journey to success was not without its detours. After passing my matric in 2016 with flying colors, I was eager to start my bachelor's degree. However, fate had other plans. My mom couldn't afford the registration fee at the University of Venda, so I took a gap year in 2017.
But I didn't let that setback hold me back. I applied to Tshwane North Tvet College and was accepted for the following year. In 2018, I embarked on a new path, determined to make the most of it. I excelled in my studies, passing both semesters with ease.
Despite my success, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was meant for more. I knew my matric results were superb, and I felt like I was selling myself short by being at a Tvet college. So, I took a leap of faith and applied for a late admission to Tshwane University of Technology in 2020.
And then, the news I had been waiting for - I got admitted to study a Diploma in Internal Auditing! It was a turning point in my journey. I worked hard, persevered, and today, I proudly hold a Degree in Internal Auditing.
Looking back, I realize that the twists and turns were all part of my growth. I learned to embrace the unexpected and trust that every setback was an opportunity in disguise.
