One of the funniest things that people say is that they don’t know what’s happening to their money. Some even claim that their sponsors gave them blood money and that’s why the business they started with it could not survive. Some say they make huge amounts of money but they just don’t know how it disappears every time, therefore, it must be one Ojuju from their village that’s stealing from them.
Crazy! Lol.
If you want to know what’s happening to your money.
If you want to know the witch that’s stealing your money.
If you want to know why you make money but have no savings or investments.
Pick a notebook, keep a record of every penny you make and every penny you spend for one month. Whenever money comes in, write it down. Whenever money goes out, write it down.
Write down even your offerings in Church and the money you give to beggars. Write down those little monies you throw here and there. Don’t think that they are insignificant. When you recharge your line, write it down. When you buy your children biscuits, write it down.
Do this for one month, sit down, and calculate how much came in and how much went out. If this does not show you that you are the thieff and Ojuju that has been stealing your money, don’t ever read my post again.
To protect your money, you must first of all have a record of how the money comes in and how it goes out. You must first account for every penny before you will be able to protect, save, and have what to invest.
If you can’t follow this process, then do what I do. Start paying yourself salary and detach yourself from your income. Let your daily expenses revolve around the salary. Separate the business bank account from your salary bank account. If the salary gets exhausted before another payday, declare yourself broke and bear the consequences until another payday. Be disciplined enough to follow these rules and watch how your financial life develops for the better.
If you can’t do this, you are not seriously looking for a solution yet.
