Why did Jesus come in Specific term
1. To bring salvation to man kind Matthew 1:21 John 3:16 Hebrews 2:3 Acts 26:18/Colossians 1:13 (darkness connotes confusion, despair and hopelessness) -- Saving from what? ; from darkness, power of the devil, sin and lack of inheritance.
2. To restore joy to mankind Luke 2:10 1 Peter 1:8 -- there is a joy beyond description -- happiness is tied things while joy can only be found in Jesus Habakkuk 3:17-19 -- it's a joy that comes from the inner Man, it wells up from the recreated spirit of man Psalms 51:12 -- anytime you are down, ask yourself of you are still saved. If you are Christ, you are not permitted to live a life of depression. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 1 John 5:4
3. He came to bring peace to humanity Luke 2:14 John 14:27 Isiah 9:6 Romans 5:1-2 -- He came to restore peace between man and God. He also came to give us peace in life John 14:27 Philippians 4:7 - no man can give you peace, only Jesus. Things are happening but you are calm and at peace John 16:33 -- the things that shakes the world don't shake us because we have the unshakeable kingdom in us Hebrews 12:26-28
4. To restore divine presence to mankind Matthew 1:23 Isaiah 7:14. The greatest advantage in the battle of life is the presence of God Psalms 114:1-4 Romans 8:31 Hebrews 13:5/6 -- when God presence is with you, you are too sure of victory in the battles of life.
5. He came to give us life at it's best John 10:10 2 Peter 1:3 Galatians 3:13-14/ Deuteronomy 28:15-66 -- A life at its best is a Man that is blessed (blessings in every department's of life) as it's a life that is decorated, to make us a showpiece of God on earth 1 Peter 2:9
6. Jesus came to destroy all the works of the devil which include sin, sickness and all forms of oppressions 1 John 3:7-8 -- sin and evil became a choice, it has no more dominion over me Romans 6:14/16 -- after you are born again, sin can't hold you down Acts 10:38
7. To restore supernatural back to mankind John 3:8 -- the first man was a supernatural being before he fell. The supernatural is our natural state now as a child of God. We are redeemed as a wonder to our world (between now and the next Christmas, it shall be shown that Jesus has redeemed me as a wonder to my world). No more natural limitation for you
What to do for these Blessings to come on you
1. Receive Him as Lord and Saviour -- New birth John 3:3/7 John 1:12/14 -- If you are too big to repent, you are too big to be saved. If you are too big to return, you are too big to be restored.
2. Believe in the provision of redemption Isaiah 53:1
3. You must engage obedience of faith to His Word John 2:5 Matthew 9:27-28. For example, you must continue to seek first the kingdom of God and secure God's favour. Man lost favour with God Matthew 6:33. Must continue seek the advancement of His kingdom Psalms 102:13-15. For instance, one can not really prosper without giving John 3:16 Genesis 8:22 2 Corinthians 9:8 -- abundance in Christ answer to giving as a lifestyle, not to prayers.

We must continue to make demands for our rights in Christ through prayers Matthew 7:7/11 James 4:2 -- it's our responsibility to make demands of WHAT He has provided and you are it seeing in your life. Jesus is the greatest gift to mankind but it carry a huge cost to maintain His presence Romans 8:6 1 Timothy
