I've seen rich people getting richer, and I've seen the poor strolling down to penury every passing day.

"Time heals everything", you believe this? Lol. Time doesn't heal always, time sometimes extend suffering and pain.

'Euthanasia' was a means of ending pain and suffering in the past; people pay for their own death, because there is clearly no hope.

'Coup de grâce' is also a type of mercy killing where a badly wounded soldier is shot by a fellow soldier to end his suffering. Why? Because there is clearly no hope.

Most times we preach hope, resilience, and perseverance, but the truth is, some pains will never go away.

Some people might never taste wealth till they die.

Some people might never own a house till they die.

Some people might never be healed of their diseases till they leave earth.

Also, some people will never know poverty till they leave earth.

Some will never beg for bread even to their 5th generation.

So what's the essence of time if it can't heal all things?

That's where 'Long-suffering' comes in. Long-suffering is a idea of not letting things you can't change weigh you down.

Long-suffering is being happy even when you clearly know that there is no hope.

Long-suffering might not bring you out of that bad situation, but might be a mechanism to help you maintain sanity while basking in pain.

Time is not always a healer, time might be an amplifier of pain.

------------

Ps: Be that as it may, never give up! Help might come someway.
