POWER OF THE TONGUE: IT UNFAIR EFFECTS

Why is it that when we say negative things like deaths, failures to ourselves it happens almost very quick.

But when we use same tongues to speak about positive things like I need a bugatti, it just almost doesn't happen or probably seems to be taking forever to happen. Just curious though. What's your take?
