God′s Will versus Human′s Will
YOUR WILL OR HIS WILL?
I Know you are facing lots of challenges at the moment.
I know you've been a dedicated child of God, serving God faithfully, both day and night. But with all your efforts and sacrifices, it seems as if God has forgotten you.
Everything seems not to be working, as you've planned.
You are sad and depressed, and you are about to give up.
BUT HEAR THIS...
What if everything, you've always desired is not the will of God for you?
What if all the disappointments and difficulties you've been encountering, are God's way of preserving your life?
Recently, I read about the story of a lady. She narrated how she narrowly escaped death in the year 2005.
She said, she would have died in the sosoliso plane crash that occurred that year.
She said, her parents sacrificed a lot for her and her siblings. Her father enrolled her in one of the best nursery and primary schools in the country. The school is known by many as the "Rich kid's school." Only children whose parents are wealthy attended the school.
She narrated how many of her friends and classmates had planned to enroll in one of the best secondary schools in the country, located in Abuja, after their common entrance examination.
She said, when her friends started discussing the school, she also informed her parents about her intention of enrolling in the school. But her father turned her down. Because he was having challenges in his business at that time, and he couldn't afford the school's tuition fees.
"Even though my father couldn't afford to send me to the school, he made sure I got enrolled in a good school, although not as good as the one in Abuja." She said.
She narrated further "All the while, I had taught my father didn't love me because my wish wasn't granted, but I was wrong. It was in the year 2005, that I realized my parents were the best parents any child could wish for. It was then I knew why everything happened, the way it happened."
She said "About 25 students, comprising of my friends and old classmates who were schooling in one of the best schools in Abuja, and we're coming home for a short break, we're in the sosoliso plane that crashed, and they all died.
She added "That day, it dawned on me, that God had allowed my father's business to collapse at the time I was to start my secondary school education because He wanted to preserve my life. Because I would have been in that sosoliso plane that crashed."
She concluded by saying "Though the incident still lingers in my mind to date, I pray God will continue to comfort and uphold all the families of those involved."
WHAT I WANT YOU ALL TO LEARN FROM THE STORY IS THIS;
✍️ God's way is not man's way. He does all things as it pleases Him to bring forth His glory.
✍️ Parents are to be celebrated at all times. They are to be loved and cherished.
✍️ Always pray for God's will to be fulfilled in your life and not your will.
✍️Don't use your present condition or challenges as proof that God doesn't love or care about you. God loves you, his love for you is a stream whose source is hidden in eternity.
✍️Your present challenges are preparing you for greater things ahead. They are God's way of protecting you.
✍️Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. Faith is the belief that God will do what is right.
✍️Hold on, don't be sad, and never give up. All things will eventually work out for your good.
Lastly, God's word says in Psalm 30:5 that "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning".
PEACE!
