Who is a liability?

In the context of a team or organization, someone described as a "liability" is considered to be a disadvantage or burden. This person may have behaviors, skills, or performance levels that negatively impact the group's effectiveness, productivity, or reputation. For example, in a sports team, a player who consistently makes mistakes or underperforms can be seen as a liability. Similarly, in a business setting, an employee whose actions or lack of competence harm the company’s operations or image may also be considered a liability.
