It was doing April 8 2021 when my grandma died,we the Nzemeke family travelled to the village,it was a fun and exciting journey.
All the way from Lagos we travel to Delta state it took us 8hrs to reach to our home town
we arrived looking tired and hungry 😳😳😳 with little smiles on our faces we were greeted with smile and open arms by our relatives.
After we showered we were served along side our counsins,Egusi soup and fufu with lot of meats.("omo see plenty meat I said in my mind, I go collect 2 give the rest children to share the rest) because I was the The elder
there.my father and mother were served differently.
Before the food will land,my cousins started eating and consuming everything in the soup, like hungry hyenas before you know fufu that was once white turn black 😂😂😂😂 come see chemistry 😂😂😂the fufu turned black.
I was so angry😳😳 I refused to eat due to the colour of
fufu.my aunt saw my countenance and decided to serve me differently.i ate and went to bed.
After some time in the village I have gotten used to the areas in the village,I even went to farm.
so one day I was strolling,and I saw a mango 🥭 🌲 tree I decided to pick a stone and throw at a ripe one that caught my eyes.
As I threw the stone,it landed on a roof top of a mud house 😁😁(bbaaaaaaraaaaaa) a loud noise was heard echoing every where.
before you know a man wearing a torn boxer that looks like some one who mange to excape a bomb blast😂😂☺️ came rushing out with holes in his boxer.
The speed this man used in coming out with his attire sent me running with tears in my eyes 😂😂😂 I was running and laughing.
I got home and I was told that we are going to farm.i had no choice but to follow them.
I was given the truck to push along with our farm
equipments.as I was going I stop to talk to my cousin as were discussing, I looked down and I saw a snake.
Omo come and see the kind of sound that came out of my mouth.
(the tinyest voice that u can imagine came out of my mouth with speed accustomed to it😂😂😂 I was so running I didn't bother looking forward to see there was a very big ditch in front of me
I was running and running before u know I couldn't feel the ground
again.and I ask my self ( Emma u don dey fly oooo 😂😂😂) abi u don chop witch 😂😂)I was still wondering. As I hit the floor, I hit the floor so hard that I heard laughter coming from people nearby, along side my family,
I stood up slowly and was walking like a drunkard 😂😂who was finding his steps. l went to my family and they were laughing so hard I was just frowning😳😳😳.my father laughed his heart out, while he laughed he said I saw a dead snake 🐍 and was running like a mad woman in our Igbo dialect.
Every body Burst out laughing.i joined the laughter crying 😭 😭 😭 and laughing at the same time😂😂😂😂
