đEpisode 1
In the hushed village of Threshan, nestled in the shade of a mighty mountain, lies the sacred relic: the *Mirror of *Fortune at the Hallowed Hall of *Roses with no *thorns.
My name is Camilla threshan, the rightful guardian of the Mirror of Fortune, alongside my twin sister Gianna, who shared my duty and my lineage. For generations, our family has guarded this relic with our lives, for we are the Threshan Sisters, descendants of the first guardians of the Mirror.
I alone, among all living beings, possess the ability to directly wield the power of the Mirror an ability not even Gianna possess.
One fateful night as the gentle moonlight shone over the Hallowed Hall of Roses, Gianna stirred a conversation with me about the sacred mirror.
"Cami, it's said the mirror holds so much power for any one person to wield, What if it falls into the wrong hands?"
"That won't happen lil sister" Gianna frowned at the way I addressed her
"Lil sister my foot, Camille we're twins!"
"Yas anna, but am still the older twin sister"
I retorted, smirking, Gianna rolled her eyes.
Unfazed, I continued to address her initial question "I dunno. I just know that it's becoming so hard to ignoring its whispers of temptation. I felt the magic calling to me, and I'm afraid."
"You what?" Gianna's voice rose, a note of worry creeping in. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I know, I don't want to get u worried"
"pfft, worried my foot, camilla u should have told me. Anyways, it's said u might likely experience this as u're the only soul who can directly & naturally weild it but seriously, why not just wield the power instead? "
"Wield the power?" I repeated, unsure how to respond. I'd never considered wielding the power myself.
"You know, it's not like the mirror has a mind of its own. It's just a tool, like a sword," Gianna continued, unaware of my inner conflict. "It's only as good or as bad as the person using it."
"I suppose you're right," I conceded, though I wasn't convinced.
"Of course, I'm right. Now, let's get some sleep. We've got a long day of mirror guarding ahead of us."
I saw her eyelids began to droop, tenderly i lowered her onto my lap, caressing her lighter brown hair. "I have a bad feeling" I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper. "I hope that we will always be together, no matter what. Together, we will protect Threshan, the Mirror, and the power within."
"I love you, Camille," came Gianna's sleepy response, a warm comfort in the chill of the night.
"Love you too, Gianna," I whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.
As the sisters slept a shadow crept into the Hallowed Hall and shattered the mirror. Taking the fragments in hand, In the darkness, Kevin, the twisted sorcerer, stood with the shards in hand, holding a *Paper with ancient runes scrawled upon it. My eyes snapped open, and I awoke with a start, drawing my sword from its sheath. Frozen in place, I gasped at the sight of Kevin, my sister's supposed friend that's the problem with Anna she trust easily, she'll go ahead blabbering every secret to anyone who pretend to be her friend, I gasped when I see what Kevin is trying to do "You coward!" I spat, the steel of my sword glinting in the moonlight. "You can't wield its power!"
"Coward? No, my dear Camille, I'm a visionary," Kevin smirked, his eyes gleaming with malevolence.
"You may be a visionary, Kevin, but you are no master of the mirror. You cannot control its power. It will consume you," I warned, my gaze unwavering.
"You can't fool me," Kevin cackled "I know better, the mirror will only make me stronger, mightier, and in control. You're wondering how I'm going to wield it, aren't ya? Well, I already retrieved the guidelines from the depths of the MDT Sea, and with these runes, I'll undo your pathetic safeguards."
I shot a glance at Gianna, who seemed lost in her own thoughts, before turning back to Kevin, her so-called friend. "You can't do this, Kev," she finally spoke, her voice weak and trembling. "I thought...I thought you were my friend. I thought I could trust you." Kevin smiles at that " "Then you're a fool, Gianna," Kevin sneered, his lip curling into a cruel smile.
"Enough," I growled, stepping forward, my sword glinting in the moonlight. "Give it back."
"Do you think I'm afraid of you, Camille? You're a guardian, not a warrior," Kevin spat. "And your sister...well, she's been a crucial part of my plan."
He tried to vanish into the shadows, but I was not about to let him escape.
I focused on the fragments of the mirror, calling upon the power within me. Instantly, my hair turned a gleaming silver, pulsing with energy. Kevin's smirk faltered, and Gianna's eyes widened in shock.
I could feel the magic coursing through me, empowering me, transforming me into something but just as I felt the apex of my power approaching, the magic stopped abruptly, and I watched in horror as Kevin snatched Gianna her screams piercing my
soul. They vanished into the shadows, taking my sister and the remaining unwielded fragments with him, leaving me with the unbalanced magic within me. I knew I had to save her, to stop Kevin before it was too late. But how could I do it alone?
