And once again, I was stuck at the climax of my imagination, pondering away like it was my 19th life🤦. I often heard people say "Oh yeah... he's the guy I have a huge crush on". I never really understood what it meant to have a crush on someone😳 but judging by the fact that a small gesture could be worth a thousand words, I decided to let my eyes do the searching👀.
Being a 15 year-old girl trained by the strong, scrupulous hands of an African mother🤧, I was new to this different yet uneasy feeling I caught onto. It was very intriguing, very mindful and of course... very demure😂. Whenever I caught a peek at him as he aisled the passageway, I couldn't help but pinpoint his eyes sparkle with a bright smile that lit an entirely different room at the corner of my heart🤍. But the bitter twist was 'I had never conversed with him...ever!!!'. I know it seems unreal but trust me, it wasn't🥺.
We had been classmates for two years and I guess I could skeptically say that my feeling had stemed the moment his aura drew me close. Little by little, he started warming up to me and I felt everything slowly fall into place...or did it🤔??
I hate to admit but boys can be sometimes withdrawn, shy, uncertain and unpredictable but please don't forget stylish😎. I gradually started with notes, then advanced to gifts. I did feel awkward but somewhere...somehow, it seemed right🤷.

Painfully, I gave up the idea of ever setting my eyes on him and then, the devil kicked back🫤. I started to notice his weird, subtle closeness to me. First he stared intensely; especially when I was gesting with my male friends, then he waved while I strolled home and finally we shook hands. At first, I imaginatively grasped my chest with the mindset of "it's happening!!!😁" but external exams were fast approaching and I didn't want my "is" to be "si"😭.
I casually returned his unfailing gestures but I knew it was never meant to be☺️.
