I think the coup leader is trying to justify his actions by claiming that he wants to avoid repeating the same mistakes of the past. He is also trying to buy time and consolidate his power by delaying the elections and imposing a curfew.

I disagree with the praise for Tinubu as a listening president. He only replaced the NDDC board nominees after protests from the people of Cross River and Ondo states, who felt that the initial nominees were not qualified or representative of their interests.

How can the federal government refuse to refund the money spent by the states on federal roads? What is the point of having a federal allocation system, if the states have to bear the burden of maintaining the roads that are under the federal jurisdiction?

I commend the Nigerian Navy for their swift and effective response to the distress call from the Itolu community. I appreciate their efforts to arrest the suspects and recover the exhibits. I hope that they will conduct a thorough investigation and hand over the culprits to the appropriate agencies for prosecution.

How can a 90-year-old president, who has ruled for over 40 years, condemn a coup in another country? What moral authority does he have to speak on democracy and human rights? How can he justify his own grip on power, which has been marked by corruption, repression, and violence? Mtcheeeew! 😏

How can he claim to be a loyal PDP member when he is undermining the party’s interests and values? Does he think he can get away with his anti-party activities? He should know that the PDP is not his personal property and that he can be expelled if due process is followed.

Coup in Gabon is a tragic and unjust event that violates the will of the people and the democratic process. Ali Bongo may not be a perfect leader, but he was legitimately elected by the majority of Gabonese voters, according to the electoral commission.

There is a rare breed of people who go all in. They keep their word. They give it their all. They put themselves last for those they care about. These individuals rarely receive the same compassion and effort in return yet continue to give freely. To the givers, forgivers and selfless lovers out there... Keep pushing forward. Don't let this cold world change who you are.
