God said He has chosen His temple as the place where He will accept our sacrifices. -2 Chronicles 7:12, Furthermore, that you should not come to worship at his temple empty handed. -Deuteronomy 16:16

God takes giving a sacrifice in His temple so seriously that He always observes what people drop in the offering basket. -Mark 12:41-44

The temple is not just the house of prayer; it is also the house of healing.

Going to God's temple regularly is like goin to the doctor regularly; even when you are feeling well, he will examine you and deal with whatever strange things he finds in your body.

When you decide to stay at home and connect to a service that you could have easily attended, you cannot get the same atmosphere as those who are in the service physically.

“Don't ever miss any appointment to be in church; God might decide to use the next church meeting to bring about the turning point you have been waiting for.”

Memorise: And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. -Matthew 21:14

Being a house of prayer, God's temple is such a place where the atmosphere is already charged, and there are heavenly protocols in place already to ensure that prayers said there are answered. -Isaiah 56:7, Psalm 65:2

You can pray on your own everyday, but in addition to that, every time you have the opportunity to go to church to pray, please don't miss it.

“The temple of God is a place that is saturated with tremendous power, make sure you go there to pray as often as you can.”

Everyone needs such a friend that will challenge you to do more for God and can tell you the truth when everyone else is afraid to do so.

Such us an example of a friend you can ask to pray for you concerning a matter you are not clear about, and he will hear from God for you.

You need friends you can have healthy competitions with on who can pray the longest, reads more Scriptures, wins more souls ... whose link with you is majorly based on the link you both have with Jesus Christ.

“Do you have a friend who challenges you to draw closer to God?”

Memorise: A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. -Proverbs 18:24

God's best friends are fruit-bearers' that is why He said that: if you bear fruits and those fruits abide, you can ask anything of Him, and He will do it. -John 15:16

Once God marks you as someone to bring closer to Himself, He will start pruning you till you are genuinely humble and completely dead to flesh.

Nobody can get close to God without going through intense discipline. Once in a while, God tests His best friends to make them perfect, wanting nothing. -James 1:3-4

“If God disciplines a person for doing something wrong and the person does not desist from committing that particular sin, He will eventually leave such a persona as He cannot become friends with unrepentant people.”

Memorise: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. -John 15:2

Those who really become God's best friends care more about Him than they care about themselves.

If your prayers are always selfish, God will not make you one of His best friends. In face, He won't answer your prayers when they are born out of your lusts. -James 4:3

They make a habit of going into His presence with a burden to hear from Him about what He wants done on earth and pray those things into existence.

Only those who are willing to share in God's burdens can become one of His best friends.

Memorise: Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. -Matthew 6:10

Prayer Point: Pray for the body of Christ with specific reference to Christians facing persecution across the world.

Those who will be one of God's best friends will have so much faith that the will be doing things that do not seem to make sense according to human understanding.

When you see the word of Gd as more real and potent than anything else, including natural laws, he draws you closer to Himself.

To have a closer relationship with God, be more audacious with your faith; hoping against hope and become a fool to others because of what so obsessively believe in God's words.

“Without faith, it is impossible to please God. -Hebrews 11:6a”

Memorise: But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. -Isaiah 41:8

They are so close to God that hey know things about Him (such an experiential knowledge) that no one else knows, and sees sides of Him that others never saw.

They heard things from Him that they never told others and made Him change His mind on several occasions. -Genesis:18:24-32, Exodus 32:9-14

It is needful for men to also open a book of remembrance of God's goodness so that they can give Him praise.

Like the psalmist, you can praise God for forgiving your sins, healing you, saving you from descructions, crowning you with loving kindness and tender mercies, satisfying you with good things, renewing your strength like the eagle's. -Psalm 103:1-5

Remember to thank God for saving you from the consequences of sin and all sorts of evil in the world today, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of calvary.

“Praise God throughout today and make this a habit going forward. You would have been consumed if not for His tender mercies. -Lamentations 3:33”

Memorise: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: -Psalm 103:2

A terrible book of remembrance was opened to all men because of the sinc of the first man and woman. -Genesis 3:19

God has provided only one way (Jesus Christ) for escaping the consequences of the terrible book of remembrance for everyone who accepts Him as their Lord and Saviour. -Romans 6:23

Beloved, if you have not truly surrendered your life to Jesus, there is no way you can escape the ultimate consequence of this terrible book of remembrance.

Surrender all to Jesus today and commit to living a holy life if you are yet to do so; So you can experience mercy of God!

“NB: Holy life simply means life of total obedience to God.”

When the bible says "God remembered Noah" in Genesis 8:1, it could only mean that God was now paying attention to Noah's situation (since God can not be forgetful)

When God remembers you and intervenes in your situation, even your those that are to be your benefactors wouldn't be able to sleep until they do so. -Esther 6:1-11

Another effect of remembrance would be taking a way of reproach; like God making a barren woman to conceive. -Genesis 30:22-23, 1 Samuel 1:1-28

Memorise: Remember me, O my God, concerning this and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of My God, and for the offices thereof. -Nehemiah 12:14
