How to know if you're sleeping spiritually:
  • You profess to love God with your mouth, but your heart is far from Him.
  • You are no longer excited to spend time with the One you call your Father.
  • Material things become more important than the spiritual.
  • You believe natural laws more than the word of God.
  • You keeps trying to cope with a problem instead of praying.

    Prayer For The Youths | Personalized

    Say these prayers for yourself, if you're a youth:
  • Father, thank You for our lives and for Your unfailing love over us.
  • Father, please draw us to You. Let us love and serve You genuinely, in Jesus' name.
  • Father, please use us to win our generation to You, in Jesus' name.
  • Father, please help us live holy and do not let the devil rob us of our inheritance in You.
  • Father, please grant us excellent success and bless us mightily, in Jesus' name.
  • Father, please destroy every agenda of the enemy to turn the hearts of we Christian youths away from You, in Jesus' name.
  • Father, please give us the grace to honour our elders so that our days can be long on earth.

  • Barrenness generally refers to fruitless efforts.
  • Examples includes physical, material, academic or ministerial barrenness. -Luke 5:5
  • God can turn barrenness to an overflowing fruitfulness; (if you make Jesus comfortable in your boat, obeying his instructions) -Luke 5:1-7

    Some biblical proofs of Jesus' Lordship:
  • Heavenly public-accreditation at John's baptismal service. (And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.) -Matthew 3:17
  • Repeated accreditation for emphasis at the Mt. of Transfiguration. (And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying This is my beloved Son: hear him. -Luke 9:35
  • The bible says that anyone who believe in Jesus will not be condemned however, those who don't believe in Him are condemned already. -John 3:18

  • When you fast, you get more than you ask for. -Esther 4:1-7, 5:1-6
  • When you take fasting seriously, all your past benefits can be brought forward and handed over to you. -Esther 6

    3 Keypoints From: Fasting Takes You Higher

    Fasting helps you:
  • To break the control of flesh over you.
  • To bridle your tongue (reducing your tendencies to sin. -James 1:26)
  • To control your temper. (When you get angry easily, it is because your flesh has a lot of energy)

    • “The solution to that lingering problem could just be some days of fasting in addition to your prayers. -Mathew 17:14-21”

    3 Keypoints From: Taming The Flesh

  • The flesh and the Spirit are in constant war; if the flesh wins (making you to commit sin), ulitmately, the devil wins. -Galatians 5:17
  • A major way of subduing the flesh is by fasting often (you must fast to remain in the light of Christ)
  • The dispensation of grace entails fasting; according to Jesus' directive. -Matthew 9:14-14 (Even Paul, Apostle of Grace fasted often -2 Corinthians 9:24-27

    • “Set apart some days for fasting and praying; make it your lifestyle.”
