Season of Fulfillment

Season of Fulfillment
(Joshua 21:43-45)
43. And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44. And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hands.
45. There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto. the house of Israel; all came to pass.

2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
This verse speaks of Christ’s second coming, however, God also promises here that he is a promise keeping God. There is going to be a divine fulfillment of every promises of God.

Fulfillment means accomplishment, perfecting, completing, performance or consummation of a promise already made by someone. The God of Hope is both the promise Maker and Keeper and He is more than able to bring every promise to pass. God is never a liar.
Numbers 23:19 says God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Our God is an on-time God. Situations that surround us and consume us may seem contrary, but God’s WORD will never fail.
Psalm 119:140 says Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.
Isaiah 55:11 So is my word be that goes out from my mouth: it will not return unto me empty, but will accomplish which I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Some of the promises that God gave to you may seem to have delayed but God wants me to tell you that “HE is NOT slow”. This is your season for divine fulfillment. Expect to see divine fulfillment of the dreams that God gave you. The promises may be five, ten or twenty years old. It may even be more. But never forget, God is dependable, He is trustworthy, He is reliable and this is your own season.

You may say, “Things have gone from bad to worse; I have lost my job, I have a lot of debt, relationship is getting bad.” I have good news for you. Isaiah 45:2 I will go before you, and level the mountains: I will break own the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron. Every hindrance to your promises being fulfilled will be utterly destroyed. Every rough schemes of the enemy on your path to the God promised place will be totally crushed in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

Proverbs 23:18 There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Expect divine fulfillment of God’s promises in your life.
Psalms 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Your morning season has arrived. Your dark season is ended. Your promises are divinely being fulfilled.

I do not know what God has spoken to you either individually, or as a family, but one thing I know is that God is faithful. This is your season for divine fulfillment of that which He promised you.
When Joseph was thrown in the pit by his brothers, his dream never died. When he was sold to the Midianites, his dream never died. When Potiphar′s wife lied against him and he was imprisoned , he never let his dreams die. Do not let your dream die. This is your season for divine fulfillment of those dreams, visions, and prophetic declarations over your life. God is going to bring people you have never met your way to be a blessing to you. God has you on His mind and this is your season. Friend, God makes all things beautiful in His time.

When God declares a season, it is upon us to agree with Him and position ourselves for that which He has promised. I would like you to take time and bring God to remembrance the promises He has given you. Isaiah 43:26 Review the past for me, let us argue the matter together; state the case of your innocence.

One thing I know is that He who says “Call unto me and I will answer” never fails to answer and this is the season for the open heaven for divine fulfillment of His promises towards us. But do not be casual. Fulfillment is mostly born on the back of intense spiritual battles. God has declared this season the season of fulfillment and this is the very time to engage Him on the altar of prayers and bring Him to remembrance of the promises He made to you.

As you do that this season, God will remember you. He will fulfill His promises concerning you. Your tears will be wiped and your sun will shine again.

And so I declare, let there be divine fulfillment of all of God’s promises in your life in Jesus name

Happy New Month.

AWAKE

AWAKE
(Rom 13:11) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

The story of the five foolish virgins who missed the feast with the Bridegroom was very pathetic. It would not have been if they had not bothered to wait. Can you imagine that you prepare so hard, leave your home and wait several hours to meet a guest only to be told that the meeting held while you were waiting outside? However, the marriage feast of the lamb was a lot more than a meeting. It was Jesus illustrating how the story of rapture would be.

In my opinion, the biggest error of the foolish virgins was their lukewarmness. (Matt 25: 1-13) And you really couldn’t blame them. They had got to the venue. They had been admitted in. They had oil in their lamps. Notwithstanding of these, they still lost the big opportunity for which they waited. They lost because they thought they were already around. They felt someone would at least beckon on them when the bridegroom arrives. How wrong were they!

The biggest misses on the day of rapture would be by people who thought that they are too close to God to miss heaven. The easiest way to miss heaven today is “being so used to church in a religious way” that you take the injunctions of heaven with familiarity.
Dear friend, one thing is for sure in the race of life: You cannot prepare too much. In fact, the only way to win is to prepare more than is required.

What does it really mean to be awake?
Awake is a call to come out of every slumber. Once in a while in life, we may get cold. We may lose some steam because we are often beset with the cares of life. Were it not so, Prophet Isaiah would not have admonished thus “Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength”(Isa 40:31). As you may know, one compelling advantage of the eagle is in its ability for seasonal self renewal. Every once in a while the eagle ascends to the hills and sheds its old feathers to grow newer ones.

That brings me to my second point.
Waking up means shedding unnecessary weight. The Bible, speaking in Heb 12:1 says “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” No man can run with a weight on his head. As Christians, every weight of sin is an impediment to growth. If you seek revival you must let go of the weight.

Lastly, I must say that no one can be awake who has not first found Jesus. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

Happy New month.

The Blood that Speaketh Better Things (Heb 12: 24)

The Blood that Speaketh Better Things (Heb 12: 24)
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel

Dear Reader,
The most expensive transactions of life is conducted in the spirit realm. In the realm of the spirit, voices speak for or on behalf of men and voices speak against men. For instance, when Job was to be tested, a voice of affirmation spoke in honor of the loyalty of Job to his king and Lord while a voice of condemnation spoke in opposition of that affirmation. When the body of Moses was being contended for by satan there was an argument between satan and Michael. Moses was by then just a log of wood because his earthly body is in a rotting state already. There was no way he could speak for himself and even if he could, that conversation was taking place in the spiritual realms. In his defense, Michael spoke a word of rebuke to the devil saying “the Lord rebuke thee”- Jude 1:9 .

Men and Brethren, who is speaking on your behalf? In rooms that you cannot enter who is speaking on your behalf? In the nights when you sleep as a log of wood who is advocating your case in the realms of the spirit? Who is actively conducting the spiritual transactions of the night and negotiating in your favour? In faculties and places where your matter is being discussed who is pleading your cause?

Secondly, who is speaking over your life as a shepherd and watchman? I remember the story shared by Nigeria’s Vice President Prof Yemi Oshinbajo when he had a plane crash. He had been called by his spiritual father that morning. Daddy Adeboye had shared with him what the Lord showed him of the evil that was to happen later in the day and then he spoke a word of prayer on his life. He reassured him the Lord had averted all evils. Later that evening on the campaign trail there was a plane crash that almost took his life. But, just as the Lord had spoken all evils were averted- nothing lost, nothing missing. Fathers are coverings. When the Lord gifts you a fatherly watch it is often another layer of cover.

Dear Reader, blood represents the very essence of life. The Bible speaking in Lev 17: 11 says the life of the flesh is in the blood. When medical practitioners want to examine diseases they take a sample of the blood. The gene types of a human being are defined by the blood. When a man loses a lot of blood, he dies. Blood represents the life of a man.

We need to understand the various effects that a blood can have in the spiritual dimension. There is a blood of vengeance. When a man, a people or a nation spill blood of innocent men the blood of such an innocent man may call for vengeance. This was the case with Abel. (Gen 4) His brother Cain had killed him out of jealousy. When Abel was killed and his blood spilled, his blood cried for revenge. Today, in a nation like Nigeria the blood of many innocent people is crying for vengeance. Many people have died extra-judicially and innocently and their blood is asking for vengeance. May God heal our country in Jesus’ name.

There is a blood of redemption and mercy. The bible taught of the principle of substitutionary sacrifice.

Apostle John speaking in (1 John 2:1-2) says “…If any man sin. We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world.” The blood of men may speak vengeance and rebuke but please note dear reader that the blood of Jesus is always seeking mercy for us his children.

Whatever condemnation you may have from men, whatever charge is against you, don’t ever forget that Jesus paid it in full. He went to the cross because he intended to be your substitution. Don’t carry the burdens of your life all by yourself. Don’t carry the weight of your sin all by yourself. Your problem is not the biggest. Your sin is not the worst. He has given murderers and men who had hit the rock bottom a new beginning. He changed their lives. He can do same for you. Suicide can NEVER be the solution. It would lead you to hell. Self pity and native doctors can never be the solution. They would put you in a deeper hole. Jesus is the only solution. He is your very efficacious substitution. Come to him today if you do labour and are heavy laden and he would give you rest.

Happy new month

The Burden Bearer Matt 11:23

The Burden Bearer Matt 11:23
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

In John 5: 1-15 the Bible talks about the man by the pool of Bethsaida. He was an impotent man and he had now been there thirty eight years. He had been thirty eight years in the same position with the same condition. On that fateful day when Jesus came by intending to do for him his most desired miracle Jesus asked “would thou be made whole?” Interestingly, this impotent man replied “I have no man”. What a pity! I don’t know what has brought the man to this conclusion. I don’t know why he had become so despondent that he now saw his problems more clearly than he would see his miracle. The best of men was right before him ready to cure him of his troubles of thirty eight years and all he could muster was negativity. Many of us are like that man thinking more highly of our problems than of our God.
But his predicament was not an easy one to be honest. This man must have been serially disappointed by men for him to come to such painful conclusion. He must have concluded; like the Bible says that “Vain is the help of man” Ps 60:11. It is my estimation that the man would likely have siblings. He probably had parents, uncles and aunts. He probably had neighbors and may be even fellow brethren in church. He must have concluded based on his experiences of repeated disappointments that the men around him lacked enough humanity in them to be called men at all. He must have concluded that their humanity was dead based on their numbness to his predicament. You see, people don’t really care so much about others. Even when they show some sympathy at an instance, it is for a moment. After a while they move on with their lives.
Interestingly, when Jesus showed up on that scene, on that day that impotent man needed no one else. He stopped needing men. It is my prayer for you today dear reader that in any aspect of your life where you have been waiting for men to show up God Himself will show up for you in their stead.
In spite of the wrongful answer of this man Jesus was not going to leave him in his dejection. He spoke straight to his situation. He said “Rise, take up your bed and walk” (John 5: 😎. He rose up at once and walked.

Jesus speaking in Matthew 11:23 says “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”. Jesus is yearning to give succor to them that are broken hearted. Jesus is eager to provide help to men who have suffered losses in the journey of destiny. Jesus wants to give you a hope and a future. He said in the book of John… That is his ministry. That is his life assignment.
While he is ever-ready to bear your burdens I should state though that Jesus is not a lay about looking for any available loads to carry. Jesus is not a jobless “wheel barrow. He certainly provides help based on set criteria. Whatever promise that the Bible makes there are always conditions for fulfilling it.

So what are the conditions for deserving to be helped by Heaven? What are the conditions to receive the help of the burden bearer?
Number one. You must submit to his Lordship. Jesus only bears the burden of those who submit to him. He only offers help to men who hand over the reins of their lives to him. Jesus only carries the loads of his children. He is not a meddlesome interloper “jumping” into matters that do not concern him. If you want him to lighten your burden you first must make him your Lord.

Secondly, Jesus does not carry “loads of sin”. The Bible says his eyes cannot behold iniquity- neither can his hands “be-hold” a load of sin. If you want Jesus to be involved in the affairs of your life you must “travel light”. You can’t be encumbered with sin and iniquities and expect the Lord of righteousness to bear the burden of sin in your stead. He already did that on Calvary. If you want him to be your burden bearer you must consistently walk in righteousness. And as you do that I see the Lord turning around your story and changing your lives for good permanently.

Happy new month

SPARE THE ROD

SPARE THE ROD
Hello Children!
Hope we remember to thank our Mummies and Daddies for taking care of us? Daddies thank you Sirs. Mummies thank you Mas. God bless you for us, but Parents how are we handling our Children?

Some Parents will tell you that I can’t beat my Child/Children because he/she might fall sick, some Parents will say I waited for years before the Lord gave me so I can’t scold my baby. Some over pamper their Children to the extent of giving him or her so much privileges to do what they like. E.g. a Child of 6yrs old takes more than N100 to school.

Parents, please let′s be careful so that we will not receive blame from God. Let’s handle our children in a Godly manner because if we spare the rod, we will spoil the child.

Till I come your next month, stays bless!

Season of Wonders (Ps 71:7-8)

Season of Wonders (Ps 71:7-8)
7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day

There is a wonderful story once told in the Bible of one friend of Jesus. He had fallen ill just at the time when Jesus was out of town and had died as a result. He was too close to Jesus to die young; his sisters had thought. Martha and Mary sent an urgent message to Jesus: “Your friend took ill ; so please come quickly and make him whole again”. As if unmoved by the sickness of his friend who is about to die, Jesus did not arrive until four whole days after the death of Lazarus. (John 11:38-44)

I do not know what seems to be dying right now in your life and it is looking like it would not live again; I want to assure you today dear reader; Jesus is coming for it.
So, Jesus got back to Bethany, Lazarus was stone dead. He was cold. He had already gathered substantial rot. The stench from his tomb was more than repelling. When Martha saw Jesus, they rued their loss “Jesus, why did you come so late. If only you had been here just a few hours after he died he would surely have lived again. But you are now four days too late. Your friend is there, buried in the tomb with the dead”. Here’s one of the mysteries of the World’s greatest wonder- Jesus. Except it becomes necessary he does not reveal himself. I remember that he went to the wedding in Cana of Galilee entirely as a guest and would never have revealed himself were it not for his mother who begged vigorously for him to cover the shame of the celebrants. (John 2:1-12)
At the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus lifted his hands and said
“Father, I thank you that you have heard me. And I knew that you hear me always: but because of the people who stand by I said it, that they may believe that you have sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth” John 11:41-43”

This is one of the biggest wonders of all time- that a man that was confirmed dead and who was getting rotten already- can come alive again and live a whole life. Wonder is what happens when the laws of nature and life are suspended. I want to let you know dear friend; whatever the circumstances of your life may be: Jesus never ever comes late; even on the day when he came four days after his friend had been buried he still was not late. Can you imagine that? How exactly did that come about?- Jesus controls time and seasons and so it is impossible to define his actions and inactions in the limit of time. If you would recall; Moses was already eighty years old almost heading for the grave when he unleashed his destiny. Abraham was a hundred years old when God commissioned him a father to generations. All of the time, God defines times. Time never defines him. That is another wonder of his existence.

As you get started this month, I want you to be ready and desirous of the unfathomable wonders in the name of Jesus. I assure you dear reader that this month of February, you will see the wonders of God and it will make a difference in your life for good.

Happy new month.

The King is Coming Back (Acts 1: 8-11)

The King is Coming Back (Acts 1: 8-11)
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Men and brethren, my question to you as you read this is “Are you prepared for His coming?”
Many have said he is not coming again. Many have said he probably didn’t come any time before. Many are now derisively discounting the second coming of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ spewing doubts to the hearts of men. But let me assure you without a doubt- Jesus is coming back! The King is coming soon.
See, dear reader, the heaven and the earth may pass away, but a single jot in the written words of our Lord will not pass away.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. (Matt 24: 40-42)

At the end of it all dear friend, there is here and there is a here-after. There is life and there is an after-life. After all of the race, the hustle, the bustle and the marathons, the winnings and the losses, after the billions and houses and cars, there will be an end. After it all, there will be death or the coming of Jesus- whichever comes first. Are you prepared to meet your Lord? Is He even your Lord at all? Or will He be excited to meet with you?

Life is given as a ransome for the purchase of the after-life. The moment is given as a seed for the planting and harvest of the here-after. Today is a down-payment for the purchase of the future. How are you using your own down payment?

As Paul says in his letter to the Church in Corinth:
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Cor 15;51-52)

It shall be a momentous day. As the trumpet goes off, the dead in Christ shall first be raised. They will be changed from their earthly corruptible cloak and put off the flesh which is a product of the dust. They will then be clothed in an image that the Bible describes as incorruptible.
The Bible speaking of this transfiguration says  “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” ( 1 John 3:2)
In Mark Chapter 9; Peter James and John were taken up the mountain to a far seclusion for a glimpse of that glory. In a moment the three saw Elias and Moses even as the glory descended on Jesus. Peter exclaimed- Let us make tents in this place- one for Elias, one for you and one for Moses so we can continue to reside in this glory. How amazing! Even without a home Peter was ready to stay in that glory. Peter touched the glory of the heavenly realms and he did not desire to return to the earthly anymore. Such is the indescribable glory of what is to come.

As I close let me encourage you dear reader: do not miss heaven for anything- nothing at all! Nothing is worth missing heaven for. The end shall come. All men will go the way of all mortals. At the other side of eternity we shall give account of our lives. Do not be caught off guards. Do not appear before your maker to begin to explain because at that time, it would be too late.

As you get started in 2023, add one more possibility to your preparations. Add the possibility of the second coming of Jesus Christ. Say it to yourself- if he appears today shall he meet me in glory?

Happy new year to every reader of this bulletin and I wish you a most prosperous 2023 ahead.

Behold the New Year 2023 (Ex.12:2)

Behold the New Year 2023 (Ex.12:2)
As we enter into the new year, our attitude is very critical... And gratitude is therefore a required attitude that would be a requirement in this season to take us into his divine plan for us in this new year.

Our reaction in any given situation in the new year can determine the result of whatever we go through - positive or negative - the children of Israel always are easy to point out as our reference and indeed we can take a cue from their experience.

Spending 40 years on a journey that should have taken just 11days - Deut 1:2, just because of a wrong/bad attitude! Deut 1:34.This could be what some of us are going through right now in the circumstances we face or go through. Let′s reflect on the past year(s) and see where we need to make adjustments and repent right away.

We can start by looking inward - what′s our attitude while we wait on God for that which we are waiting on Him for (that which we have asked of Him and look to Him for in the past year(s).
Wrong attitude can make our journey longer - Abraham and Sarah tried to help God and they got a Prince of War (Ishmael) instead of Laughter (Isaac) - which they eventually got.

Furthermore, rather than just “putting“ our trust in God with the right attitude, we tend to do otherwise trusting in the arm of flesh which fails.

Let our prayer always be - Lord, may our trust be in you and in you only and our attitude shall always be right at all times so as not to ever miss you and your will; so as to get it right always in Jesus′ name.

But let all rejoice who put their trust in you; Let them ever shout for joy, because you defend them; Let those also who love your name be joyful in you.Psalms 5:11

In the Lord I put my trust...Psalms 11:1
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.Psalms 20:7

But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men,John 2:24 (you can′t afford to put your trust in man! Rather put your trust in God.

And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. Deut 8:2

Jesus Christ must be the focus of our lives in this new year. As long as you are a Christian and you are for him.- Your life is no longer yours (You are now a new creation
( 2 Cor 5:17)...and we owe ALL to Him,

For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’Acts 17:28

So “do life with God“ for life outside God is meaningless and pointless. Going nowhere!

Life is a journey and we must arrive at our destination with God. Our joy is to make it with Him. The Holy Spirit is to be our Guide day by day to take us to our destiny Psalm 32:8 is therefore very apt ... The Holy Spirit being our eyes to guide us as we journey on in this new year and generally in life ..
Remember, we′ve never pass this new year before!

Now the just shall live by faith; ....Heb 10:38a
Let′s joyfully “go on“ & let′s enjoy our “trip“ in Year 2023. As we embark on this journey with great expectation. God is with us! Yes, our Emmanuel!... indeed, He′s gone ahead of us! Halleluyah and all crooked paths have been made straight for us.
Is 42:16 Amen!
Happy New Year.

DOUBLE PORTION

DOUBLE PORTION
(2 Kings 2: 8-9)
8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

There are men who struggle in life for everything. They struggle to be born, they struggle to live, they struggle to go to school. They even pay through their noses in schools. They fight to get a job and wait several years before they find a mate. Nothing is ever easy for them. Look around, you will find such men. Whatever they have, resulted from years of toil. May be you are even one such person whose trademark is struggle. It is my sincere prayer that the God of Heaven will set you free in Jesus’ name. God never ordained a life of struggle for you. It is not God’s wish that you fail twice before you earn a degree. It is never His plan that you learn by brutal life-threatening business failures. God’s agenda for your life is success after success. Please do not misunderstand me, God ordained hard work and He expects it of us but undignified, unproductive and tortuous work is never a part of His plans.

What exactly is the difference between impossibility and struggle on one hand and ease and effortless success on the other hand?- grace and the God of Grace.
In the prophetic ministry of Elijah there was struggle. As powerful as he was, Jezebel almost cut short his ministry. It took the grace of God to sustain him till the end. It was thus a great thing that Elijah left with Elisha double portion of the anointing he carried. Dear Reader, this is the strategic value of a mentor. Mentors are given by God to empower us to do more than what they did. That was what the mentorship of Elijah did for Elisha. It is my belief today that God is sending men and women your way to empower you for greatness. It is the season of greater glory and increase on all sides.

The Bible says “Then Isaac sowed in that land and received in the same year a hundred fold: and the Lord blessed him” Can you just think for a moment about that? Can you just imagine putting a thousand naira in the bank and getting hundred thousand in interest by year? That was what happened to Isaac. In a land of hardship where everyone was crying famine, God rewarded his labour hundred fold. You might be one such person who is thinking “How will dreams come true in this year of woes” I have a word for you: the God that did it for Isaac will yet do it again.

Dear Brethren, as 2022 goes to an end it is time to enforce God’s promise of double portion in our lives. We need this double portion of anointing to terminate every form of struggle, stagnation and limitation on our path of divine destiny. But in doing so, there are at least three things you must take seriously.

One, you MUST never take NO for an answer. Whether it is from destiny-helpers or the devil, never take a “No”. You must know that great doors seldom open at the first knock. Elisha had to cross Jordan before he got the double portion anointing.

Two, you must be a man of prayers. I have not yet seen a greater force than the force of prayers. Christians seem to have forgotten that time changes nothing. Those who constantly record victories have mastered the use of prayers for the dismantling of spiritual strongholds. Be not ignorant, there will always be opposition to your progress.

Lastly, Faith! In this kingdom we operate entirely by faith. The Bible says: The just shall live by faith (Heb 10:38). Faith being the evidence of things hoped for; a believer needs to activate faith to see the real manifestation of seeming impossibilities.

As we engage the combined power of faith and prayers this month, nothing shall be impossible for us in Jesus name.
Happy New Month.

A New Beginning

A New Beginning
(Ex 12:1-2)
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,
2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
The value of a promise is a function of the speaker of the promise. In this world, there are men and there are men. When some men talk you can go to sleep because they will honor the word even if it is at the cost of their lives. But when some other men pronounce a promise they carry no weight at all. They can renege on a promise just because it rained heavily or it was a sunny day. Our God is not like that. Numbers 23:19 says “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

There are three things that make the word of our God of particular consequence.

First is the Ability of our God.
No one can give what he does not have. Recall the story of the exorcists who; trying to mirror the spiritual exploits of Paul in casting out demons said in Acts 19 to evil spirits “...We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.” Interestingly, the Bible calls them “Vagabond Jews”. By definition, vagabond means “impostor”, not born of the presumed father. In truth, that was who they were. They were claiming the brotherhood of the Kingdom when in fact they had no identity in Heaven. Our God is not like that. By proofs again and again; by proof documented in medieval times and now, our God has proven His capacity to do what men cannot do.
A few months ago, in the ancient city of Akure, working through the hands of a young believer our God raised a popular middle aged man who was reportedly lame from birth. The capacity of our God has not reduced with time. Just as he did of old, He is still doing today.

Secondly, the Integrity of God
It was Alan Kooi Simpson a United States Republican Senator representing Wyoming who served from 1979 to 1997 that said “If you have integrity nothing else matters. When you do not have integrity nothing else matters”. The integrity of God is unquestionable. Even the integrity of those who follow in his steps is solid.

And lastly, the love of God
God speaking through the mouth of Prophet Isaiah in Isa 49:15 says “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”
When I think about the love of God, it makes me shiver. God sent His only begotten son to the world to die for mankind in hope that mankind would take advantage of Calvary. And I ask, what if all men reject his offer? What if no one repents? His only begotten son would have died in vain. God took a pre-emptive risk. That’s a depth of love no one can explain.

These three reasons above makes it impossible for God to fail whenever he says a thing. Paul speaking to the Roman Church says in Rom 8:32 “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Dear friend, if there was anyone who knew God at close range Paul did.

As this new month unfolds I challenge you therefore to hold on strongly to what you have heard Him say to you. He is not a son of man. He cannot lie. He has said it emphatically- even though it is November God is making it your own January, the beginning of a new year. The implication of that just in case you do not know is restoration of time in all of its dimensions. Men say that time is the only resource in the world that once lost can never be regained- not with God.
Jesus came to the tomb of Lazarus three days late, in spite of that defining lateness, when he got there, he was still right on time. He did not just reverse the death of Lazarus, he restored time unto him (John 11:1-45)

It is my prayer for you today dear reader that God will fulfil the promise of Exodus 12:1-2 in your life. November shall be as January to you and you shall pursue and recover all.
Happy new month.

FREEDOM

FREEDOM
Ps 126:1-3
When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Freedom is one of the most difficult things to describe. It may however be better understand from an opposite perspective. Perhaps we can grasp freedom much better by first explaining its opposite- slavery.
Nothing reduces a man more than slavery. Nothing has the capacity to debase a man as much as slavery. Slavery takes away the pride of a man. Slavery takes away all of his dignity. When a man becomes a slave, his right; even to life is withdrawn. He is counted as one of the belongings of another man. It is my prayer today that as many as are under the despotic reign of Lucifer would be made free today by the power of Jesus name.
Slavery limits the capacity of a man to think straight. Let me remind you of the sad story of the prodigal son (Luk 15: 11-32). He had left his father’s house with a lot of possessions and had wasted all of his inheritance. He fell into slavery by his own very design. He lived among pigs like one who had no people. It was so bad that he had to eat from the crumbs of pigs. When a man is enslaved, he is treated as the equivalent or even worse than an animal.

I remember the pathetic story of the children of Israel also. They had been in the land of captivity for over four hundred years and the children of glory were now so used to the low-life of servitude in Egypt. They had seen the miracles performed by the hand of God through Moses and Aaron forcing the hand of Pharaoh to let them go. They had seen the outstretched arm of God. So it was surprising when it so happened that on the day that God parted the sea they wanted almost to go back to Egypt. “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us, bringing us out of Egypt...it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.” (Ex 14: 11-12). Can you even imagine that? The children of Israel actually said it would have been better for them to continue in slavery that to embark on this journey of freedom!
It tells me one thing: slavery rewires the thinking of men. It is my prayer that as many who have now settled for the low-life of slavery instead of the abundant life of freedom, God of Heaven will break the yoke upon their heads in Jesus name.

Dear friend, freedom opens the eyes of men. Paul speaking to the Ephesian Church in Eph 1:18 says “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,.” To be candid, freedom starts with knowledge.

The same Paul spoke yet again in Phil 3:10- 14 “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,”
Even Paul only found freedom and self-actualization in knowing and daily following Christ. If there is one advice that I consider necessary to give you today it would be that you find Jesus with all of your strength. Lay hold on him when you contact his revelation and ensure by all means that you never let him go.

Freedom is not a reckless life, lacking of accountability. Freedom is; knowing Jesus and following Him for the actualization of the full potentials of your life. That is the cross to which I call you today. That is the gainful enterprise to which I invite you to dedicate the remaining of your life.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.” ( Matt 16:24-25) Now, this is the mystery of freedom. Those who seek genuinely liberating freedom must learn that there is a price to it. That price is absolute and sheepish obedience to Jesus. When you lose yourself to Jesus you find yourself in purpose. When you become a slave to his will you find the freedom to live the abundant life he promised.

Happy Independence Celebration
