A Dream Achieved
I woke up this morning feeling like a Boss! I was reflecting on my university journey, and I'm filled with gratitude and awe. Despite the challenges and disappointments, I am reminded that my worth and identity are rooted in God's Love and acceptance(Glorrrrrrry).
As I navigated through the adulthood of university life, I drew strength from my faith and cultural heritage. My time at ACU, I had the privilege of serving as the Chapel Drama Unit Head. I developed my leadership skills, creativity, and confidence. Not forgetting, the value of teamwork and servant leadership I learnt as a member of the student body.
Butttttt let's be real, university life wasn't all rainbows and butterflies. The were times, I felt like giving up, the "school na scam" thought kicked in. I even attempted suicide in 200 level 😅(yeahhh, it was that bad), But God(my biggest support system) showed up.
He blessed me with the gift of men, and the privilege to be in His disciple.
Through their love, encouragement and prayers, I found the strength to persevere. And I discovered even through discipleship that with faith, perseverance, and the right support system, I could overcome any obstacle.
As I look back on my university journey, I am grateful for the opportunities I had to grow, learn and serve. I am thankful for family, my human disciplier, other disciples and friends who supported me on this journey.
Welllll, I might not have received the degree in the traditional or ceremonial sense😅(as per I no go convocation) buttttttttt, I have already received the knowledge, skills and experience that will equip me for a lifetime of service and impact.
Psalm 79:13 (personalized)
"Then Regina your disciple, a sheep of your pasture, will thank you forever and ever, praising your greatness from generation to generation.
Don't forget to snack on puff puff today ❤️
And remember God is good all the time.....even when you are soaking garri for the 10th time today!
